Good morning. It is interesting to see the thoughts on the cold. If we didn’t go anywhere when the windchills were -15, we would spend a lot of the winter indoors. I probably would have stayed home yesterday myself, but my husband said it would be fine. He was right. It had started to warm a bit by the time we had to be on the road. It is always better to be safe than sorry, wherever you live.
Sometimes it is good to put your air conditioner on in order to clear fog from the windows. Yes, even in the winter. I am not sure if this is just for certain cars or not.
People here are complaining about the cold, too, because it just hit too hard too fast. I am sure it is miserable down south.
Good late morning. I heard it was 18° this morning. No wind so not too bad with good coats to warm us on an early run to Walmart and Sprouts. The car seat warmers help tremendously. Since we have a handicapped parking placard, we park real close to the entrance so I can dash in.
The main problem is bouncing around between very warm and very cold. It gives no time to acclimate so we feel it even more.
It’s freezing here. Well below it in fact. The snow has now been here long enough to turn ugly and icy. Won’t be melting for a couple more days it looks like.
y’all it’s 60 degrees at my house and warmer still in town! Who stole our winter!!?⛄️😢
Snow is fun as long as you don’t have to drive in it around here. I can drive in it but those transplants never having to drive in those conditions believe a Subaru is invincible!!! Then they find out too late!
Jo, I found Satsuma oranges at our grocery! Oh my how sweet and aromatic are they. California grown!
Janice, I typed you a birthday greeting but it disappeared.
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate you. Your comments are always positive and lift us up. You have gone through a lot, but don’t complain. I have no idea how you take all of the beautiful flower photos that you post on Facebook, but they light up the day.
We are so blessed to have you and I am blessed to have met you and Art.
morning all. Still dark here on the west coast

I believe I have the pictures to prove that meeting happened Jo.
It’s always been a nice blessing when folks meet up in “real life”
🙂
