  1. My 96-year-old Uncle Frank goes in for surgery this morning to clear an impacted bowel.

He’s got hemophilia and had to be transfered to a higher level hospital (USC Keck) for the surgery. They’ve scrambled to find him sufficient coagulant because of his hemophilia.

He’s exhausted, very tired, but obviously resillient.

My sister-in-law is on the scene overseeing it all, but, well, you know.

His sister, my mother, died on December 22 30 years ago.

He leads an active life, is the cornerstore for my Sicilian family, and we’d love him to pull through, yet again.

The last major surgery he had, about 25 years ago, required 102 units of blood. He got hepititis on unit #102.

Pray for God’s will. I’m not sure of his salvation status.

    Thank you.

  2. Praying for Uncle Frank. He is amazing. Art’s Dad had a similar situation and his All American physician did nothing to help him. He saw a Chinese doctor who did something that cleared up/out the problem without surgery. It is a terrible problem to have and I cannot imagine having the blood issue along with it. May the God who does what is impossible for humans to do give wisdom and guidance and work miracles through the medical staff to move the mountains for Uncle Frank.
