  1. Good morning! I missed the funnies, Peter. Was the link there and my eyes did not see it?

Yesterday we broke the record high temp at 79°. Of course the days are short so it does not seem like summer in some ways, but people are back out in their shorts. As for me, I was given a pair of overalls that I am thoroughly enjoying these days.

  2. Morning! Frost on the roof this morning! I love a nice comfortable pair of overalls Janice!

Sweetie and Stinkie fox have visited. Stinkie knocked over a bird bath attempting to get a drink. They are so fun to watch!

  3. Janice: The link is the word “Friday”.

As for the conversation on communion: It should be up to the individual to decide. We say before partaking that it’s only for people who are born-again believers, regardless of baptism or church background. We do warn them about partaking unworthily, as Paul mentions in 1 Corinthians 11:27-29:

27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself(bold type my emphasis)

It is not up to the pastor, the deacon, the church board of directors or anyone else. Only God knows the true state of a person’s heart and only he can judge the partaker as being unworthy.

  5. He has reactive airway disease. Anything will set him off into wheezing and coughing. He had been sick for a week when he finally consented to go to Dr on 11/11. We got a couple of shots, antibiotics, inhalers, and neb treatments. He took all of that but did not get any better. He went to Las Cruces to see his mom, and when he came back, was hypoxic and feeling terrible. He took nebs all night without any improvement. Took him to ER. Heart was in A-flutter. Took 2 days to get rate down. He has a murmur. He had an echo in February. Had another which showed his aortic valve worsened. So he got oxygen, lots of diuretics. Next step is to follow up with cardiology to replace aortic valve.
