  1. Good Morning, Wanderers! Another Friday is upon us.

    It’s Reformation Day, when Martin Luther posted the 95 Theses on the Wittenberg door.

    It’s the end of October, and my D1 turns 40 today.

    And tomorrow night we go back to Standard Time. When will someone in Washington finally use common sense and put us on one time all year instead of the insanity of switching back and forth twice a year?

  2. Janice, I read your post about picking up your crochet hook again. My great grandmother crocheted until her death. She was virtually blind for the last couple of years. She crocheted by feel. Her work from that period is cherished for its few imperfections.

  3. RKessler, I had an aunt who had terrible cataracts and was about blind from that from not having had surgery. She, too, made granny square afghans which were perfectly made, but her color combinations were not the best because I think she made some of them from leftovers.
