Again, I say rejoice! Indeed, a great day to rejoice.
I was in Publix and there was a tremendous boom, like an explosion. It was a powerful bolt of lightening that had come out of nowhere and hit nearby. A man behind me asked if I knew what the explosion was. I said I hoped lightening hit but I had my doubts, because it had sounded so much louder than typical thunder. Inside the store, we did not have a clue because we could not hear that sprinkles had turned into rain. We were in the Jewish community.
I really wish I did not have to think about how much some people hate the Jews. And how much they hate Christians.
So it is indeed a great day to rejoice in God showing off His abilities.
All glory to God. Yesterday’s memorial service was amazing. I was in charge of the reception so I got to see Him work. I did a good job of listening. Excepting 150 we had 350. Whoops expecting. But God. I got a phone call Saturday night the family from Thursdays memorial sent over all the extra food. I always say yes because only God knows our needs. Food just kept coming. And folks stayed after church to help prepare. Opening the gym to full size moving tables. Offering food to take home and encouraging folks to eat.
confessing my bad: one new deaconess didn’t show up. I just thought she let us down. Turns out she was in an accident and is in the hospital
it was good to encourage others. One gal felt we needed more Hawaiian rolls. I finally said if you feel that way you need to go get them. And we used them
Kizzie thanks for all you shared on the prayer thread. Living alone God cares for us in special ways
It’s Monday. Thanks for the reminder Rk…He has indeed made this day and rejoicing in it is good for the weariest of souls…
This morning has been challenging and I have been keeping busy cleaning the house and washing a load of laundry.
Coldest day will be tomorrow and I need to take down the last remaining hanging planters…two are still producing flowers! I kind of sad to see them go….
Good morning! This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice in it!

We are finally in a cold, dreary rainy time. Welcome relief from drought. Fifties highs and forties lows. A walk beckons.
