  1. Our lilacs did not bloom but did have fresh leaves after looking quite dead for a while. It was an issue discussed on a local PBS gardening show. Many have had blooms. Apparently, the weather has fooled them into a false spring. Nature is certainly interesting.

  2. That is so interesting about the lilacs. I need to dig around the roots to make mine bloom.

Although it gets into the 80s in the afternoon, the chillier hours in the night rule the indoor temp so our air conditioning is not kicking on. I need a sweatshirt most of the time indoors.

Are any of you expecting No Kings rallies in your areas tomorrow? There are several all around this area with the largest downtown and others in surrounding towns. The news said they will be family oriented, wear costumes, and candy will be handed out. They will be all inclusive.

  3. Well Kevin certainly started out this morning with quite a chuckle. I saw I had 43 unread wandering email posts and I thought ya’ll were a very chatty bunch today!

We had our first frost this morning! 35 degrees and yes frost on the pumpkins!

Waiting for a couple to pick up the armoire and hoping they show up. I have a few others waiting to see if they might pick it up but I said I would wait until one for this other couple to come. I think I was being too nice but oh well…I mean it’s free! The 3D printer was picked up yesterday afternoon and husband believes the guy just scouts for free stuff to sell…that’s ok we just wanted it gone. If he can sell it for income good for him.

  4. home again. I had lots of different plans but kept praying for wisdom. I had no one to go with me so chose to be safe. My vision is blurry and my leg gets aching. So I went somewhere that was familiar and took two days

a light layer of snow, fall trees and sunshine. Just lovely
