🙂 God is sovereign. We can trust him, even when everything seems so wrong and out of control. We don’t need to take it on our shoulders. I am reminded of Corrie Ten Boom praying about the children in the concentration camp and, basically, scolding God, questioning him. (And who wouldn’t?) He reminded her that he was carrying the children on His shoulders, and she could rest in that truth. We still weep with those who weep and help where we can.
I watched a sermon video of a former pastor the other day. His message was concerning when we go through difficult trials. I know he deals with many facing difficulties.
He pointed to our heart. Yes we go through trials yet our Lord tells us He will never leave us nor forsake us. How do we respond? Lord I know this has not escaped your notice…how might I walk this path to glorify you?? I would say Corrie certainly has glorified the Saviour through it all difficult as it was to endure those trials…she remained faithful….
