  1. “The int’l media is missing the real story of “famine” in Gaza. Hostages ARE starving, Hamas is getting fat, & the UN declares famine while 92% of THEIR food is stolen to be sold by Hamas. Meanwhile UN food sits rotting in sun. The UN should declare itself corrupt & incompetent.”

“When I filmed this video from atop Mt. Aid in Gaza, I was looking at 600 trucks’ worth of aid.

But now, there are 700 trucks’ worth waiting to be distributed by the UN.

The UN won’t do it, though, because that might make Israel look good”

    • Ir they’re afraid to get might be shot or shot at by IDF soldiers, as has been reported many times. That could be the case.

Israel doesn’t need the UN in order to look bad right now. Their own former intelligence chief was recorded saying that for every Israeli who died there must be 50 Palestinian deaths and it doesn’t matter if it’s children.

Israel looking bad is self inflicted.

“On the 1.4 million — Pew says ‘most of the drop is likely due to a fall in the unauthorized immigrant population,’ meaning, of course, illegal immigrants. On the issue of illegal immigration, Trump’s policies are succeeding in three ways: 1) deporting a relatively small number of illegal immigrants; 2) encouraging others, especially more recent arrivals, to leave after the realization that being in the country illegally could become a serious problem for them; and 3) virtually ending new illegal crossings.

One notable point in the Pew report (“U.S. Unauthorized Immigrant Population Reached a Record 14 Million in 2023; Preliminary data indicates continued growth into 2024 and a decrease in 2025″) is that in 2021 there were about 2.7 million illegal immigrants in the country who had some sort of protection from deportation, like parole or a request for asylum. In just two years, by 2023, that number increased to 6 million. That means the Biden administration 1) admitted a record number of illegal border crossers; 2) gave them protections that would make it hard to deport them; all the while 3) performing little or no vetting of their background. Millions of illegal border crossers were allowed to stay on the basis of…nothing. Which is, of course, why there were so many illegal border crossers in the Biden years. And it’s how Biden globalized illegal border crossing, with illegal crossers no longer limited to Mexico or Central America but coming from China, India, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Russia — everywhere. It would be hard to design a more irresponsible border/immigration policy.”

    • I completely agree that the Biden immigration policy was extremely irresponsible. The lack of vetting. However, there still doesn’t seem to be vetting. Just reflexive deportation. That’s not smart either. It’s destructive.

  3. Immigrants used to have to show they could live her without welfare, or they had a sponsor. Learning a new language is more difficult the older one is. That is one thing a sponsor could help with. Every institution was not required to have interpreters of every language. Schools (and other organizations) helped by having late classes, of course, for adults. (one of the churches I attended sponsored a family from Vietnam, for example) Children were very helpful in getting parents to learn the language. Lots of parents learned English, but spoke at home in their home country’s language, whether it was for ease or to keep their children from knowing what was said. Those adults wanted their children to assimilate. Loving your home country and cultural details can still be done while assimilating to our country’s traditions and way of government. Why move to a country if you hate everything about it?

Also, I am not sure that we know there is no vetting going on. There has already been vetting for many who have been taken in. It is horrifying that innocent people are caught up. There have always been overzealous police etc. We don’t turn a blind eye, but we don’t want them to never arrest anyone either.

  4. God gave people the womb as their first most protected home in which His very image would be carried as a new life. He has good plans for each of those lives He allowed to be created. Only He has the right to say what the value of each thing (person, plant, planet, etc.) carries according to His plans, will, and purposes. Those who think they know better than God might want to reconsider how they may be devalued in the eyes of God by thinking they are above Him in their thinking.

  7. I don’t trust any of the numbers from 2024. There has been a whole lot of fudging going on for a long time. Just like those numbers saying crime was down when they just weren’t reporting crime in the same way.

  8. Janice – The information at 1:25, that many undocumented immigrants pay taxes on their earnings, has also been widely known and reported for many years.

BTW, re: “. . .reconsider how they may be devalued in the eyes of God. . .”

All of us are sinners, and we all deserve to be devalued in the eyes of God. But. praise His Holy Name, He loves and values His children even when we are wrong, even very wrong.

(Of course, He also moves in our hearts and consciences to correct us.)

I had to chuckle at the wording “borrowed”…I think the term is “Stolen”! Not borrowed.

    I don’t trust the numbers though….

  10. When I made the comment about the statement being chilling last night, I was doing it from the perspective of being concerned about how God would react to it, knowing what little I am privileged to have understood from His word. I realized that at some point in my life I would have said the same words. I was truly shocked to see those words. But I do know that all opinions are allowed by God.

  11. Borrowed gives the benefit of the doubt . . . someone told them it was okay to do because everyone else does it so surely it isn’t stealing or against the laws of the land. It must be okay in God’s sight because SS numbers aren’t in the Bible.

    • You know, I was thinking there really is no way, politically, to get around the consequences of sin. You plug one hole or fix one problem and another springs up to take it’s place. The best you can do— the best I can do—is to be as humble as possible before God. He’s really the only one who can carry these burdens anyway.

  12. Saved by His grace…His grace only.

I suppose my reaction to someone’s belief that living persons having greater value than those yet born comes strongly having held ”unwanted” newborn babes in my arms hours after birth. They have always been wanted and valued by our Creator and by me. I have never worked with illegal persons but feel they should do the right thing by righting their unlawful entry into our country. Newborn babes are helpless…they need sheltering arms and care….that has been His call on my life…

  13. Yes, we all have personal experiences driving our thoughts on all these matters making us more passionate about certain things than others. It is really good that God calls us to feel activated toward the good works He prepared in advance for us to be involved with. If we are working on fixing things then we don’t have time to have disputes about such matters. I am guilty of not being at work for God because it is easier to talk about things.

Amen to Debra’s post at 5:51.

I feel very strongly about abortion because personal experience gave me good reason to have deep thought about it. I believed in following the law of the land long before I followed Jesus as Lord and Savior. I was even a contributor to Planned Parenthood. That was back in . . . B.C.

I still believe in following the law if it aligns with God’s word because His word says we should follow the laws. I expect others to do so as I would in their nation. God speaks about lawlessness in very negative ways. It creates chaos and disorder . . . pain and suffering. God is orderly and set up government’s to keep thing orderly. Y’all know all this so I won’t go on.

Maybe I can be a little too emotional, but this story brought tears to my eyes. It wasn’t merely because the boy bravely owned up to what had happened, but because of the homeowner’s reaction. Some people would have reacted angrily, but this man was gracious. God bless them both.
