Towards the end of the segment, Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti briefly discuss the implications of Jewish and Christian Dispensationalists’ perspective. It’s interesting because neither of them are Christian or Jewish, but they can see how our government is being affected by those considerations. It’s worth knowing how younger people are thinking about this situation.
I didn’t take the dispensationalist too seriously when it came to US foreign policy, but after watching Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham it has become worrisome. Some sanity and balance is needed.
It’s much worse than that HRW. Our Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson and Sec’y of Defense, Pete Hegseth are head over heels in this movement. They are active and vocal in policy making. In my opinion, this is the primary reason the war in Israel has been allowed to drag on for so long. It’s also why there is so little regard for the starvation in Gaza. Particularly from Christians. No regard for anyone—Christian or not. Young or old. Guilt and innocence does not matter: they are all Amalek.
I just don’t recall this ever happening when the other side of the aisle was in charge!
