  1. Prayers for my Dad. It’s my birthday which also means it’s the 4th anniversary of my brother’s death. He’s already mentioned it and I can always see the conflict in his face and voice between celebration and mourning. For my part, I feel closer to my brother as we share this date, but it’s not the same for Dad.

  2. How ironic, Debra. My daughter shares her birthday with the date of my other daughter’s boyfriend and their other good friend. This young man was his father’s only son. The father just recently passed away at the age of ninety. We picture the blessed reunion for father and son. We will attend the father’s memorial service in a few days. Such is life before Christ returns—bittersweet in so many ways, mourning and celebration side by side at times, like ashes mixed with beautiful perfume. One day no more tears is such a wonderful promise!

  3. For those who have confidence in the judiciary over executive branch to do the right thing… not so much…

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche wasn’t holding back. “A newly revealed memo confirms that at least some federal judges were predisposed against the Trump administration. This is a serious breach of the judicial oath and a threat to the rule of law. Every litigant, regardless of politics, is entitled to a fair forum,” he declared. His words call out the misconduct loud and clear.

The memo also exposes what many are calling a judicial coup. Activist judges like Boasberg, Beryl Howell, Tanya Chutkan, and Amy Berman Jackson have repeatedly ruled against President Trump in critical cases involving deportations and executive authority. According to the documents, Boasberg—an Obama-appointed radical—was one of the worst offenders, demanding that deportation flights turn around midair and even threatening Trump officials with criminal contempt

  4. Re. possible two-state solution: The Palestinians would have already had a state, but they chose war instead (and continue to do so).

As Chas used to say, you can’t have peace with a people whose stated foreign policy is your total destruction.

  7. They are masters of projection, being themselves guilty of every crime they falsely accuse Trump of.

    “Senator Chuck Grassley CONFIRMS:

Thumb drives containing unreviewed information related to the Clinton espionage email scandal and the mishandling of highly classified materials have been sitting at an FBI offshoot office since 2018. He has asked @FBIDirectorKash for a thorough review of the materials and to report back “ASAP.”

Intelligence Community Inspector General Charles McCullough III confirms:“Make no mistake — you don’t accidentally stumble across it or fail to realize what it is.”

“Hillary Clinton’s emails — stored on her unsecured personal server in her bathroom closet — contained intelligence from one of the U.S. government’s most secretive and highly classified operations: Special Access Programs (SAPs).”McCullough continues:“

A comprehensive review by the intelligence agencies — who have final say on classification matters — found several dozen emails containing classified information at the CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET, and TOP SECRET/SAP levels.

“That is even more sensitive than Top Secret.””

  8. Again, this is why the criminals are so emboldened, because justice is a joke in dem run cities.

Keep in mind this is the pathetic excuse for a man who sucker punched the White woman in Cincinnati.

President Trump’s tariff policies have drawn historic investments and opened up global markets for U.S. businesses. Congratulations America: 3 percent today, and we’re just getting started.”

“An FEC complaint has been filed against the cheating US Senator from South Dakota: John Thune. @LeaderJohnThune @johnthune

I filed it today as he has been caught Smurfing $1,148,902. He and his campaign committees stole the identities of 714 senior citizens to criminally launder this money into his campaigns.

They did it with the direct help of @WINRED

Thune has been a politician at the federal level for 26.5 years now, he’s made a career out of it. He cheated to “win” his elections. The people of South Dakota should impeach him.

The Conservative Review @CR gives him an F in their Liberty Score ranking. And, Thune actually believes the J6 prosecutions were legitimate. “

  11. McConnell’s hand picked stooge is as corrupt as he is.

    He should resign in disgrace.

Like with USAID, Rs are running many of the same scams on taxpayers. This is ID theft, and fraud.

  12. More pressure for peace between Israel and Gaza.

” Canada will recognize a Palestinian state in September, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney told reporters on Wednesday.

“Canada has long been committed to a two-state solution, an independent, viable and sovereign Palestinian state living side by side with the State of Israel in peace and security,” said Carney, flanked by Foreign Minister Anita Anand.

The move follows similar announcements by France, which has said it will recognize a Palestinian state in September, and the UK, which has said that it will too if Israel does not meet conditions that include agreeing to a ceasefire in Gaza.

“Canada intends to recognize the state of Palestine at the 80th General Assembly of the United Nations,” Carney said. “We intend to do so because the Palestinian Authority has committed to lead much needed reform.”

“OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine (AP) — The chief of police in a Maine resort town has called for an investigation into the arrest by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement of one of its officers, who the chief said was federally approved to work in the country in May.

ICE arrested Old Orchard Beach Police Department reserve officer Jon Luke Evans, of Jamaica, on July 25. The agency said Evans was illegally present in the U.S. and unlawfully attempted to purchase a firearm.

ICE said in a Monday statement that Evans had legally entered the U.S. in September 2023 and violated the terms of his admission by overstaying his visa. But Old Orchard Beach Police Chief Elise Chard said in her own Monday statement that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security had verified that Evans was authorized to work in the U.S. in May of this year.”

  14. This is good news. It’s about time there was Arab pressure applied to Hamas.

” Arab and Muslim states including Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt have for the first time issued a joint call for Hamas to disarm and relinquish power in the Gaza Strip as part of efforts to end the war in the territory.

The 22-member Arab League, the entire European Union and another 17 countries backed a declaration signed at a United Nations conference co-hosted by Saudi Arabia and France on Tuesday.

The meeting in New York aimed to address “the peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine and the implementation of the Two-State Solution,” and the declaration lays out what steps the signatories think should be taken next. ”
