  1. I see Debra was channeling her inner AOC last night with calls to abolish ICE because of a couple of mistakes, one during a riot.

But that’s not how this works.

Do we abolish police, doctors, nurses, politicians, and hospitals because some individual made an error that inconvenienced someone?

Seriously, do we abolish police when one goes rogue and beats a suspect? No.

No, we don’t, and ya’ll know that.

I mean talk about tossing the baby with the bath water…..

Just stop with that nonsense. When dealing with 15 million criminals, and they are, some mistakes and errors in judgement will occur. But that’s also on the criminal who shouldn’t be here as well as the officer doing wrong..

“A sitting U.S. Congressman doxxed a federal ICE agent mid-raid — moments later, that agent was bleeding in the street.

Salud Carbajal handed the agent’s info to a violent mob. DHS confirms shots were fired. Over 500 agitators, many tied to Soros orgs, were bussed in ahead of time. This wasn’t a protest. It was a planned attack.

The raid targeted Glass House Brands — a front flagged by Mil Intel for cartel ties, fentanyl, human trafficking, and foreign money laundering.

One of the men arrested? An illegal and convicted child predator.

The Congressman chose to shield them.

Why did Carbajal have an ICE agent’s ID in his pocket?

Why did he hand it to the mob?

Because this was a Deep State counterstrike.

Trump’s 2025 EOs are dismantling their trafficking routes — and they’re panicking.

    This isn’t about weed.

This is about synthetic drug ops, child trafficking, and foreign cash pipelines hiding under “legit” brands and nonprofits.Carbajal wasn’t there to observe.

He was there to protect the network.

    He should be in GITMO.

    Not Congress.”

Are you really going to buy the story that the vet was the victim here, and not the trafficked children he helped oversee?

He worked on a farm with essentially child slave labor, numerous illegals, and yet he’s cast as a fine, upstanding vet.

    Well I call BS.

  5. If y’all are ok with your husband or wife or daughter or mother or father disappearing for days without knowing about their welfare simply because they’re at the wrong place at the wrong time, then I feel sorry for your family. I’m not ok with that ever. And you should remember that there are real dangers that come with selling your 4th amendment rights for expediency. I imagine Esau thought it a good idea to sell his birthright for a pot of stew, and look how that turned out for him: he couldn’t undo the damage though he sought it with tears.

“Another huge win for American energy dominance has just occurred.

…..Italy agrees to purchase $15 BILLION in USA natural gas following Trump’s tariff threats.

This makes Italy more reliant on the US instead of RUSSIA for energy across 20 YEARS.

A ridiculous amount of winning is occurring right now.

Increasing Europe’s reliance on buying up American energy was a high priority for President Trump.

The deal occurred right after Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with Trump at the White House, AND after Trump set his tariff deadline for the EU.”

80% of U.S. drug precursors come from China. How did past administrations allow that?

    Here’s what’s coming. 🧵”

“2/ This is the biggest reshoring push since Trump saved U.S. Steel.

Starting later this month, tariffs will hit foreign-made pharmaceuticals.

A low tariff at first.A 200% tariff later.

  15. I’m not familiar with the specific case being discussed but there have been enough issues with due process that one example is no longer the issue. People have been held in detention for weeks without hearings — some were citizens, others were in the US by legal means. Its not enough to apologise and continue with the same behaviour, something has to give.

Due process is a basic democratic right that all democratic countries have in some form or other. Without this, countries slide into authoritarianism or rule by law not rule of law.

Abolishing ICE is one solution. I’m old enough to remember the rallying cry of the right “Abolish the ATF”. Even after the OKC bombing, the NRA and other groups pressed to abolish the ATF. ICE and the ATF are both gov’t paramilitary organizations. And now the roles are reversed, its the left calling for the abolition of a para military force. At least Debra is consistent. As a foreign observer, I always found it strange that the US had separate para military organizations — ATF, ICE, Border Patrol and even the FDA. Here the RCMP does all of that.

Even if you don’t abolish ICE, it needs serious reforms. Any time a gov’t organization loses the support of more than 50% of the population, it needs to change to regain its credibility. Without support, it won’t be successful.

It needs to be a professional force. It quickly expanded and is still expanding and its obvious quantity has been a greater concern than quality. At the very least, they need to know what is due process and how to follow it. Use of force rules need to be understood and followed. And it needs to look professional — without a basic uniform, employee number, etc they simply look like street thugs. If it can’t changed — abolish it and delegate its authority to other police groups that do follow rule of law.

  16. So the Trump admin fired Comey’s daughter….. was she incompetent or was it because of her father? If the latter, I can see an unfair dismissal law suit.

However, M Comey was also involved in the prosecution of Epstein, Maxwell and P. Diddy. I know Trump has been telling people to stop talking about Epstein but this isn’t helping.

  17. From what I’ve read part of shutting down USAID involves the destruction of 500 metric tons of emergency food. It will cost the admin $130,000 to destroy it. I’m sure countless charities can put this to better use.

NORAD allows the US to set up early warning sites from Alaska to Greenland. This enables them to track submarines, surface ships and airplanes prior to any threat to the US. In exchange, we get the occasional assist. Personally I think we should charge the US armed forces rent. The US armed forces have a habit of leaving their foreign bases without cleaning up. Greenland is still cleaning up the toxic mess the US left behind when they shut down some of their bases.

Not sure why people don’t understand basic trade. Italy does not buy from the US (that would actually be somewhat communist). Instead Italian companies buy from US companies or in many cases one multi-national buys from an other multinational. Gov’t agreements simply mean they will facilitate the use of infrastructure, streamline purchase agreements, lower the import tax, etc. It doesn’t mean the importation will actually happen.

  18. CBP has a self deport app — they might want to make it available in ICE detention centers. An on-going issue of European and Canadian held by ICE is ICE not listening to these detainees — almost all have the funds or credit card to buy a ticket home yet they stay in detention for weeks if not months. The latest I read was an Irish guy who spent a few months in both ICE detention and then in a regular prison because ICE was full. Guards in the federal prison were confused about why he was there. Eventually, they brought him to the airport and he bought a ticket home. A Canadian girl spent a few weeks in detention and then was released — she was told they released her when they realised she offered to buy a ticket home; something she said four weeks prior. Again, the incompetence and unprofessionalism — imagine if they held a hearing right away.

  20. Inflation — wow, talk about lowering the bar. Core inflation is 2.7% a slight tick upward. Yet some observers want to claim “no tariff inflation” as if you can separate it. The stats to figure out general inflation are bad enough, I can’t see how they can isolate tariff inflation. It appears they are talking about tariffs on finished products exported to the US by foreign companies — but this misses all the tariffs and prices placed on raw materials. Again looking at the auto industry, prices are going up because raw material cost — copper, steel, etc — are going up due to tariffs. (Sue some of it is companies exploiting the tariff uncertainty to raise prices – but prices are going up either way)

The problem with drug cost is distribution not production. Added to that the ridiculous level of patent protection in the US and you have the issues not China. China is no the reason why you are paying hundreds more than Canada or the EU. And tariffs will not change this; in fact it will probably raise the prices. Tariffs have their place but protecting US pharma companies is probably one of the worst uses of tariffs.

Most of the new plant announcements were re-annoucements of Biden era new construction. New factories take years to get off the crowd and require various levels of cooperation between companies, governments and banks. Any new announcements right are preliminary and may not even happen.

  26. Paul: is it legal for you to flog a Roman citizen?
Romans: Say what? Are you a citizen? No!!!

People have been erroneously picked up by law enforcement forever. There is usually an attempt to right the error as quickly as possible.

In that case, his word was taken as truth because someone impersonating Roman citizenship was in deep trouble if discovered.

In our situation, people lie with ease and produce all manner of false documentation. It makes it more challenging.

Am I happy with it? Of course not! But the only other option at this time is to go back to letting everyone run loose. With all the sanctuary cities, uncooperative judges and prosecutors and law enforcement and citizens, there is no way to isolate the targets.

Sort of like Israel trying to stop Hamas hiding under hospitals without collateral damage.

I would prefer no Palestinian children were killed or maimed. I would prefer no innocents were swept up. Until we come up with a better plan, we either continue or leave everybody free to do whatever.

The reason for the Innocence Project is because we are humans and make serious mistakes, intentional and not.
