  1. Good morning, all. Another beautiful day. Husband took night shift again and he experienced what we on the day shift have gone through. Dad has been up and down multiple times as in get up every three to four minutes since one am. He is back now.

  2. It is difficult, Mumsee. I now can relate on a much smaller scale. Miss Bosley keeps trying out new places so I have to keep looking for her. I told Art this morning, she is looking for a more comfortable spot to rest. He said he had figured that out.

I just mowed and am hot and sweaty. Even so, Miss Bosley is sitting in my lap and purring. She was in the dirty clothes basket this morning. Always some place new.

  3. Oh, those pretty flowers are nice to see. I should be out putting mulch on my garden. However, I just got back from the clinic. I was a bit concerned over a wood tick that had been stuck on my leg and hastily removed by me. That was on Saturday, and the wound is not pretty. It is actually better today, so I am on the mend from it. Also, I don’t have to worry about Lyme’s because it is a regular old deer tick. It may have been an allergic reaction. Hopefully, it will just now get progressively better, and I can tell those who wanted me to go to the clinic that I did, and all is well. Relatively speaking that is.

One of the people who saw me was a student who is studying in ND. She does most of her work online. That option is so nice for so many. She will be good at her job.

  4. My hanging front-porch potted flowers flopped this year, they were poppies – I prefer trailing geraniums but somehow have not found those at the local gardening stores in years.

One pot out of three still survives, the others just really flopped despite the usual watering and even some fertilizer.

    So disappointing …

Will try again, I suppose, to see if I can’t get some going for the latter part of summer into fall …

  5. I lost my perennial poppies. I so loved them. This is the second time I have lost those. These were doing so well. We had extreme hot and then freezing temps. Also, they may have gotten too dry. I heard on the local garden show that many people lost perennials this year.

I used to have Cosmos like above. They are so pretty.

I did get all the mulch spread but need a bag or two more. We have a heat advisory for the weekend. It should be miserable for the jam group performing in the old historic unairconditioned school. The show must go on.
