Good morning, all. We have nothing but sunshine here. I had hoped to water the gardens and mow a couple more acres, but with the children helping at VBS and husband took the night shift (for which I am ever so grateful!), that will have to wait.
Our temps have been lowered a bit, which seems to be a pattern this summer. The air is hazy, so I think it is from the smoke we keep getting. I am glad so many of the fires are out, at least from what I heard here.
It should be a music day for us. First the regular jam and then listening to music in a park at a town about 40 minutes from us. At least that is the plan.
I know I have weird eyesight, but when I look at the header photo, I see the back view of a lady wearing a crocheted hat, a stole around her shoulders, with her hands in a muff. Does anyone else imagine that when looking at the photo, lol
I listened to another Jamie Winship podcast. Did I post it already? This is the fellow who M suggested we listen to on her birthday. So much wisdom to gain from a listen to him:
So I took a friend to the airport and then went to ikea. Found the lamps I wanted. They only had one left of the standing lamp and it was marked down to 49 from 75. Then she told me that I had to go to a certain counter because it was the last one. So I did and they marked it down to 29. Wow, guess this was a special lamp for me.
On the way home I stopped at walmart to get a few things. Do you know what happens when you drop 2 liters of sprite??? It explodes! I am still all sticky
