Mumsee, to answer your question from yesterday, I got a bad bag of Blue Buffalo Wilderness Indoor cat food which made Miss Bosley very sick. She is eating the new food but is still not herself. She will see the vet on Tues. if I can get her in her carrier. I will be picking up some gabapentin (sp?) to help calm her.
The trout was good last night. It is infrequent I get to go to the Farmer’s Market so that limits how often we can have it. Trout is something Art likes which is always a win for me since he has a limited range of what he will eat.
My dad regularly caught trout. He caught salmon, but not often. I did not/do not like any fishy tasting fish, so was not a fan. I was pleasantly surprised when I ate fresh salmon (or flash frozen) from Alaska. My SIL fixed it with soy sauce and brown sugar on the grill. There was no fishy taste. They fix it many ways. This is the only way I have cooked it.
What a variety of food the Lord has blessed us with!
For the curious: the irs said that I owed them 507. After my three hours online, I should be getting 1550 back and don’t owe them anything. Pretty good pay for three hours!
It is especially good as I already spent it on hearing aids.
Whoa, mumsee! I hope you can get that cleared up, ASAP.
I found out that an old acquaintance lives at the nursing home where the group played music today. She joined in on several songs with the spoons. She yodels, too, but did not today. She is paralyzed from the waist down from arthritis eating up her spine, so to speak. She is extremely upbeat, however. It was fun to have her play with the group.
