My husband’s group will be performing at a Memorial Day Service at a church we used to attend. It is a very small church. One year they invited the color guard and families, who would have had to be in the rain at a nearby cemetery, to have their service in the church because of rain. Ever since they have been having a meal and service for the community on Memorial Day. There are two cemeteries in the area that are also visited after the main service. It is quite a blessing to many. The speakers are always wonderful.

We continue to have rain and thunderstorms in the night. I don’t remember a greener year. Of course, the temps are lower with more cloud cover, but we do have high humidity and the worst part of it is mosquitoes.
Church was good yesterday with the sermon on conflict resolution based on stories of Abraham in Genesis. The pastor’s son is quite gifted as a preacher.

We have been in a rainy period and Colorado is looking very green!! Now if we could just get this state closer to red we would be fine and dandy!! 😂
