  1. Good morning! We’ve been to a doc this morning to talk about bone density treatment options for Art. We got our walking in at the Emory complex (short walk for me, but l9ng for Art).

  2. Still can’t do edits! And to get cut off from finishing my comment . . .why? WordPress has some long running issues.

It’s 73° at almost 11 a.m. Overcast with a few sprinks, and high humidity. I actually walked the boardwalk trail with son late yesterday. This week I have gotten back to what I was up to before the illness in February. Thankful to God to finally regain strength.

We saw a long snake crossing the concrete section of the trail. It was the biggest snake I have seen in our area ever. Son also got a photo of an anole (lizard).

  3. Good morning from Windy NM.

We had a nice time @ MIL 87th birthday party. Lots of relatives and mariachis. She had a great time.

I am headed to a funeral of a dear friend. He was 102. Had a stroke a few weeks ago. His wife took me under her wing as a young mother and taught me so much about canning, parenting, where all the best gardens and orchards were, and most of all, how to be a woman who loves God.

  4. Morning. Snakes… no thanks!😂 you should see me jump when someone calls out “snake” on the trail! And I too have continuing posting issues on here Janice… frustrating.

RK what a precious blessing you have been given. I hold fast to the wisdom imparted to me by older women as I was a young mother and wife. ❣️

The painter has been here and we are scheduled a month out for house and living room painting. Picking out colors has proven to be exasperating. I am so conflicted and husband and I are not seeing eye to eye. The painting contractor agreed my choice was safer!!😊

  5. NJ, what are the different colors that you two have proposed? What is your criteria for your selection? I am thinking that “safer” means it is more neutral and will mix nicely with whatever furnishings you have?

  6. I have been to the paint store… so overwhelming. Since we live in the forest husband chose a deep green color so we would blend in with the pines. I chose a taupe color. After looking at hundreds of colors I can go with the deep green with a lighter trim. But as you pointed out Janice I need to be able to coordinate colors with porch rugs and furnishings. Now I am debating all colors for the living room… this is so not my strong suit! All the while I am thinking right colors for selling the house when we decide it is time to leave…

  7. My solution? I send husband in to bring back three to six of his favorite paint chips. He brings them home and I select my favorite from them. If he does not agree, I let him have final choice. Why? Because I don’t care! Nothing in my house matches anything else and I am fine with that.
