🙂 Safety from tornadoes. Wonderful educators and aides that take care of the children in schools. And the bus drivers!
😦 The wayward one who just doesn’t want to do what will make him most satisfied and joyful in the long run.
🙂 Our God who is the Hound of Heaven.
🙂 Our friend’s hunting shack was safe from the fires. Rain!! How grateful everyone was for the rain that helped and took us out of the extreme rating. Two fires are not out, but the third bad one and numerous others were contained or put out. Thank God for people who do this work and all who contribute.
😦 Heard of another person with newly diagnosed cancer
🙂 The perfect angel lap cat
😦 The devil cat that gets on top of the cherry chest of drawers and scratches and scratches to make me get out of bed at 6 a.m (what is it about slick surfaces like the TV screen and furniture that makes her OCD in trying to get a grip, over and over?)
🙂 Through this trying and stressful situation that I am going through, God is helping me to “stretch.” I have been doings things that used to be part of my husband’s role, such as contacting people – a realtor, a mortgage guy, a contractor, and, as of yesterday, a lawn service guy. It may not sound like much to some of you, but this has all been stressful and a little scary. Thanking God for leading me through all of this.
🙂 I have been approved for the rehab loan, and it will be enough to do all of the work included in the estimate.
😦 But there is so much more work that I cannot have done. Whoever buys this house will have their work cut out for them.
😦 Other things I have to do for the eventual move are also overwhelming.
🙂 God has seen me through this far, and will take me the rest of the way, even though I may not always feel that confidence from day to day.
Mumsee – I have been relieved that I have mostly been able to contact these folks through Facebook messages or texts. I am not a fan of phone calls, either!
The main issue with phone calls for me is that even though I wear hearing aids, I still often have trouble clearly understanding what the other person is saying. The other issue, which I think a lot of people may have, is that you must be able to comprehend what is being discussed and respond right away, whereas with texts or FB messages, you can think about it a bit.

Kizzie, believe me when I say I understand. Making those phone calls is way out of my bailiwick!

I am not a phone person either, but sometimes I prefer to texts or FB messages.
