  1. The professor is correct. This is what Biden and company just tried here. They even had their own trash media.

“In a generation, Israel will still be Israel, but Ireland will be unrecognizable. As much sympathy as I have for “the Irish” whose country is being handed over to hostile foreigners, Irish politics and media institutions are complete trash.”

  2. With the grinchiest of Grinch smiles…..

“I’ve decided to retire. ..” is incoming from Tillis.

“Poll shows Lara Trump CRUSHING Sen. Thom Tillis 65-11 in a hypothetical 2026 GOP primary, don’t be shocked if “Senator Trump” is trending in North Carolina very soon.

A Victory Insights survey of 800 likely GOP primary voters put Lara Trump miles ahead of incumbent Sen. Thom Tillis—65 percent to 11 percent, with a quarter still shopping around.

Her December 2024 decision to step down as RNC co-chair “to explore her next chapter” only fanned speculation that the next chapter is a Senate run back home. With near-universal name ID and the Trump family’s fundraising machine ready-made, she would begin the race as the prohibitive favorite. “

  3. Yesterday I was curious about Trump’s meeting with Canada’s new Prime Minister . PM Carney is starting to sound like one of Trump’s cabinet members. Or at least like he’s ready to make peace. 🙂

You’re a transformational president, focused on the economy, with a relentless focus on the American worker, securing your borders… ending the scourge of fentanyl and other opioids, and securing the world,” Carney said. ..”

  4. Meanwhile, today in our fallen world; via AP:

~ ISLAMABAD (AP) — India fired missiles at Pakistan early Wednesday, in what it said was retaliation for last month’s massacre of Indian tourists. Pakistan called the strikes an act of war and claimed it downed several Indian fighter jets.

The missiles killed more than two dozen people, including women and children, in Pakistan-administered Kashmir and the country’s Punjab province, Pakistan’s military said. The strikes targeted at least nine sites “where terrorist attacks against India have been planned,” India’s Defense Ministry said.

Pakistan said it reserved the right to respond, raising the specter that the back-and-forth could spiral into all-out conflict between the nuclear-armed rivals. Already, it’s their worst confrontation since 2019, when they came close to war.

Following the strikes, there was a heavy exchange of fire that officials in each country said left more people dead. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the armed forces for shooting down five Indian jets, which he said were hit after they fired their missiles but while still in Indian airspace. ~

    Pray for peace, always.

  5. As a (real) Jeep fan, can’t say this made me shed a tear, although cleaner air (someday, however it may be achieved is a good thing … )

  6. It felt too pushed onto consumers.

    Am I wrong?

Guess I’d like to see more persuasion (backed also by more data supported by a longer time-frame) … and more options (“choices”) within the marketplace.

  7. You do know that P, G, & E customers–and possibly your electric company as well–are paying to put in all those electric charging stations around California.

My next car probably will be a hybrid–but given the cost of cars, I hope it won’t be for at least a decade or two. 😦

  8. Um, and better battery options? Maybe make that 2 decades, anonymous.

We had a battery truck burn for about 2 days that closed a bridge in the port, they could not put that thing out, caused quite the mass evacuation.

The technology needs a lot of work. Lots of issues still to work out.

  9. And aren’t the batteries super expensive to replace? I read they last about 8 years and cost many thousands of dollars. I don’t know if that’s plan ed obsolescence or just where the technology is at this time.

  10. Years ago, my SIL said that her next car would be a green one. For a moment, I thought she was referring to the color. Then I realized she wasn’t. 😀

  11. When we think we would like to see judgment come, we must remember that the Bible says that judgment starts with the house of God (I Peter 4:17). For now, God holds us believers more accountable for our actions and behavior than He does those in the world.

  12. The last few years I’ve seen more and more Teslas around Ann Arbor. Ann Arbor voters are skewed way left, so it makes sense that they want to go green, but I’m sure many of them are feeling very uncomfortable to be connected to Elon. 😀

  13. Hopefully, Gen Z’s “return to faith” is a work of the Holy Spirit, which is the only way we genuinely turn to Christian faith. That is my prayer for them.

  14. So this nut job probably took offense to the President dressed like the pope with AI. And he seems to be a fan of pop culture

This is who we have making up laws in this state. Lord help us.

This email says, basically, ‘I’m accountable to almighty God, because I’m standing up for equality, that my decisions, one day, I will stand before him and be accountable,’” state Sen. Chris Kolker, a Democrat and sponsor of the bill, said on Tuesday.

“Well, this is what I believe: Have you ever seen that movie ‘Talladega Nights’? You see that section where they’re talking around the dinner table, and they’re talking about what their favorite version of Jesus is?” he asked. “Baby Jesus, I love baby Jesus. I love Lynyrd Skynyrd Jesus when angels are behind him and the choir is singing and he’s playing ‘Free Bird.’”

“Well, on my day of judgment, I might be standing in front of trans Jesus, I don’t know,” Kolker quipped.

  15. I hope my post did not appear to indicate that I want judgement to come on the USA. I hope it will not before more are saved. That said, our sins are piled so high as a nation, and many who call themselves Christian are tolerant of what God hates (on either side, R or D or other). God has been patient.

  16. Succinct teaching from Ligonier:

However, the word here can also include judgment in the sense of bearing some kind of suffering because of repeated sin. Though we have seen that this suffering is not by itself honorable (1 Peter 4:15), it can result in blessing if we turn from the sin in question as a result of it. This kind of judgment, verse 17 tells us, will also be poured out on those “who do not obey the gospel of God.” Yet for them, it will not result in purification but eternal condemnation. Those who are judged without knowing Christ will be destroyed, but God’s true people will be strengthened and purified by His righteous hand.

Discipline first His own. Not harsh judgement. Painful it can be yet for our growth in Him.
