We got rain yesterday which means the grass and weeds need to be mowed. Thankful to see things greening up again. New growth on vines had started to brown from lack of rain.
It’s supposed to rain here today, too. We are getting some green grass coming up. I watched a couple of deer for a while, making sure they did not get in my gardens. I do have a few plants coming up, too. Tulips are a delight for the deer, as well as some of the others.

I had no idea that deer would eat tulips. That’s a sad thought!

We have thunderstorms predicted for this afternoon, and it looks as if rain could begin soon. Mowing will not happen today.

I take those words back! Mowing happened. I have one section left. The sun is peeking through, and we may have showers later.
We are at 70° with high humidity from recent rain, but still a good day to be outside. The air is fresher.

The site for the rehearsal dinner in a month went out of business yesterday.
We’re back to the drawing board. Sigh.
