  1. continuing praise:

    gas prices.

postal service (we received son’s remains via usps, who’d a thought?)

Prayer: we offered our guest rooms to bio mom and grandma when they come to the funeral. Have not heard, in God’s hands and may He be glorified.

  2. I shall never think of the USPS in quite the same way after learning that, Mumsee.

Praising God for praying friends, steroid shots in knees that enable people to keep going about their business, more and more spring flowers popping out, a car that got a battery at just the right time, and online church.

  3. Today many of us are reminded of how pitifully weak humans are in the face of the strong forces of nature. Those of us who know the Lord and his word are reminded that Jesus was able to calm the storm. The bible tells us to not be anxious, but to pray with thanksgiving in our hearts and he will guard our minds and hearts in Jesus Christ. When we meditate on him, we find peace. This is something I am learning more and more.

Thankful to God for the lessons he has given me.

  4. Please pray for me, and also for Nightingale, in a very bad situation that has unexpectedly popped up. Please pray that we will come into agreement about how to handle things, and for the right kind of help from others.

Please pray for me to have a calm spirit about it, with peace in my heart. (I am dismayed, and very stressed right now.) Although I am praying for the trust to accept if God’s will is different from what I very much want, I am also praying for a kind of miracle, or unexpected (in a good way) outcome.

(This may sound like a health matter, but it is not. It has to do with our near-future living situation.)

    Thank you, and God bless.

  5. Kizzie, I am asking God to give you full understanding of the situation from His vantage point and to help you have patience as He sets in place His best remedies. Praying for harmony in attitudes toward what will be affecting everyone in the household. May the final outcome be a benefit to all individually and as a family group. May salvations be a part of the long range plans for all. In Jesus’ name, Amen
