  1. I wrote this yesterday and didn’t get a chance to post it. Your prayers are so greatly appreciated.

Everyone here has covid, but I’m thanking God again for another generous miracle of grace this morning. I feel like the worst of mine has passed and if everyone else recovers I should be able to work next week. Covid always makes Dad very weak and a little feverish, but this time he was panting for breath a little, so he’s in the hospital for a few days just to be safe.

Husband was symptomatic so I took him to our doctor who prescribed a theraputic, Paxlovid. After I took him back home I went to the hospital to take Dad some things. When I returned home husband was pretty much entering respiratory failure. He was barely conscious, oxygen in the 70s and heart rate 110 and climbing. We’ve been here before. He told me he didn’t want to go to the hospital to die and was saying goodbye. I kept talking to him and adjusting the oxygen and encouraging him and praying. We spent the night in the living room so the ambulance could have access if necessary. But as we talked and prayed his heart rate began to decline and oxygen levels increased to high 80s low 90s. Finally, we got some rest. This morning he’s so perky he’s trying to debate politics but I’m not taking the bait. 🙂

  2. I teared up reading your post, Debra. All this suffering from illness is too much on people! To have both your dad and husband suffering at the same time is overwhelming especially when you are still recovering. Prayers for you all♡

Prayers continue for Isaac and all of AJ’s family.
