  1. To start the day….great comment about the “look”

“JD Vance and Speaker Johnson are up there giving someone on the democrats side the same look my momma used to give me when I was acting up in church,” another posted.

  2. It was sad that the Dems couldn’t stand in agreement or approval of anything. The president really knows how to use the television coverage. That is good or bad according to how much you support his ideas.

Two thoughts often come to mind when I hear him, “Pride goes before a fall” and “Don’t count your chickens before they are hatched.” It was nice to hear some optimism for a change, however, and that our country will make a change from some of the evil we have accepted as normal.

  3. The Democrats are doing themselves no favors by their actions. They need a new strategy that does not involve thinking the “F” word and never showing compassion to people hurt by their policies will win the hearts of people. I truly feel sorry for people stuck in that gutter rut. I’d be inclined to change parties, if I were Democrat, from watching their display last night.

  4. Petulant children.

The Democrats lost last night, and embarrassingly so with their childish actions.

    Trump on the other hand…..

  5. “If the Supreme Court is going to ascribe to unelected inferior judges the full powers of the presidency, then it’s probably time for the president to ignore the Supreme Court.

It’s an absurd judicial power grab, and the Constitution itself all but requires the president to defend and uphold the Constitution by rejecting lawless power grabs.”

“WOW… Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh with a TRUTH NUKE in their dissenting opinion.

“Does a single district-court judge who likely lacks jurisdiction have the unchecked power to compel the Government of the United States to pay out (and probably lose forever) 2 billion taxpayer dollars? The answer to that question should be an emphatic “No,” but a majority of this Court apparently thinks otherwise. I am stunned.”

  7. Last evening, the Dems showed the entire world who and what they are.

They have a single goal: Power and control – at any price, at any cost, by any means necessary.

It seems that being a Democrat means that you hate. You hate the USA. You hate women. You hate the unborn. You hate freedom. You hate white people. You hate rich people. You hate people of color. You hate Jews. You hate Christians. You hate the Constitution. There isn’t much of anything that you don’t hate.

Stop the hatred! Instead of seeing something wrong with everything and everyone, look
for the good in any situation and build upon the good things. Embrace love, common sense, and your fellow man!

After their performance last night, why would anyone still want to be a Democrat?

  8. Watching the sanctuary city Mayors is quite astonishing. Denver’s mayor Johnson is clueless and is a master at skirting questions. They should all be marched directly to jail….

  9. “I love my Party, but tonight was a new low. I get silence on this or that policy, and the raw politics of the base’s anger. But, for not a single D to stand to applaud a boy’s brave battle with cancer, or a man’s admission to West Point, was a classless disgrace.

And maddeningly, while overall Trump’s speech was politically good, there were political holes that could be exploited, juvenile taunts that voters hate, and comical lies. But much of that will be buried by our self-inflicted stupidity.”

  10. Mumsee, I did not see it all. You must have seen some parts that others missed? What parts were you referring to where they showed feelings or compassion or emotions for any good thing that Trump did? Was it a few single people among the big group? My eyesight is so poor I could have easily missed seeing sonething.

  11. just a few, toward the back. Of course, it could have been overflow. But some in the middle looked a bit uncomfortable, even remorseful at not acknowledging the pain or joy of others.

  12. They sat there kind petulant children seething at the kid who stole the ball from them. Time to grow up or get out..,albeit with their cushy retirement and healthcare…and great gains on their insider trading!!’🫤

“This is my fifth such speech to Congress, and once again, I look at the Democrats in front of me, and I realize there is absolutely nothing I can say to make them happy or to make them stand or smile or applaud,” he said.

  13. Perhaps praying for them to have a heart change would be more productive all around than ridiculing or mocking them. Win, win, win. Them, us, and God.

  14. I agree, Mumsee. God is at work. Some of the people may look back at the videos and question the message they are sending out to the world, and then have a heart change upon reflection. We can pray and hope for it.

I think a lot of people are vain enough to want to look back and see how they were captured in the moment on camera. It could be sobering for some. Others will just see it as a sign of unity with their peers, as in loyalty at all costs. It is their loss to not try and find any common ground with the general public whose hearts are touched by the personal stories. The Dems in general need a facelift.

  15. “New research from the University of Texas shows that all the justifications for mutilating children were lies. They analyzed more than 100,000 patients with gender dysphoria, and looked at the outcomes for those who received surgery vs. those who didn’t.

Depression, anxiety, suicidal feelings and drug abuse were all “significantly higher” for those who received surgery compared to those who didn’t.

Let’s repeat that: Treating gender dysphoria with sex change surgery was linked with drastically WORSE mental health outcomes.

Phony doctors belong in prison for what they did to our children.”

  16. Good!!

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) told four Democratic mayors before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee that she would criminally refer them to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for upholding sanctuary city policies on Wednesday.

“To me after this line of questioning, it’s very clear that these policies that you have all implicated are active and alive and well in your cities are in direct violation with Title 8, U.S.C. § 1324 and is a federal offense,” Luna said, referring to a federal law that prohibits bringing in and harboring migrants without legal status.

  17. I was amazed that, as far as I could see, not a single Dem stood or clapped. What hold is upon them that no one was willing to express an opinion that the others weren’t expressing.

I was surprised not to see a single dissenter. We all are together on some fundamental beliefs, but we also hold some wildly divergent opinions. What is making them so strongly hold a party line.
