Our pastor has finally been moved from the ICU into a regular hospital room. He still has a long road ahead.

Wow, that’s great, Kathaleena. Prayers that he will be on a steady pace to grow stronger and more able. Will they be able to do some PT with him?

AJ, did Isaac get tested for the flu so they know if it’s A or B? Can he get a med for it? Still praying he gets well soon and no one else gets it.
We never got tested so still not sure what we had. I am still working my way to well, but much, much better and will be trying to get out and walk soon. My cough is seeming better, day-by- day.

A long time ago, in a city far far away, a couple provided a barbecue for some folk from Idaho on a history tour of Athens. While chatting, the old man said to a young guy, “your dad’s name wouldn’t happen to be Craig would it?” Yes, indeed, how did you know that? “Well, I went to high school there in Boise with a guy named Craig …., so I wondered.”
Fast forward twenty plus years, and the old guy was on the phone with the doctor who is treating his daughter in the psychiatric hospital. “Oh, by the way, Dr, your dad’s name wouldn’t happen to be Craig would it”? Yes, how did you know that? “You came to a barbecue at my house in Greece about twenty years ago.” Was that you?…I am taking my children to Athens this summer!

Janice, he is getting PT and OT. He cannot even stand on his own right now.

Kathaleena, PT and OT are usually very helpful because they raise hope that one can get better and stronger even if it is just the tiniest of movement forward each day
