We have alert, alert, alert! Rivers and stream flooding for the next 1/2 hour.
In our back yard, which often includes a river going into our nextdoor neighbor’s pool (house lots climb a slight hill, so we’re about three feet higher than the western neighbor, and a few feet lower than the eastern one), we just have a shallow wading pool at the moment.
But it’s drizzling and expected to get worse. The wind has not picked up yet, so that’s a relief with all the trees that could go over.
I actually like the sound of rain on the roof when I’m cozy in bed at night.
Hard to imagine water moving at these temps. In fact I was just out knocking down icicles as my dad was doing his walking out there. He says it is nippy. But prayers.

Good morning! We have 47° with cloud cover. Perfect weather for February. Things are still drippy after big overnight rains.
My virus likes me and wants to linger a bit longer with coughing spells. I’d so hoped to avoid that. Low grade fever, trending in the right way.
