  1. The WSJ has become bird cage liner.

“In another long piece indistinguishable from a Biden-era DOJ press release or the Washington Post, WSJ portrays DOJ/FBI employees as victims of reckless Trump administration:

    This is LOL:

“For the past decade, leaders at the FBI and Justice Department have concentrated on threats from overseas, including terrorism, cybercrimes, as well as Chinese and Russian espionage—including the vast “Salt Typhoon” hack of the U.S. telecom system attributed to Beijing and the Kremlin’s escalating acts of sabotage.”

No WSJ that is NOT what DOJ/FBI leaders (Jim Comey? Chris Wray? Rod Rosenstein? Merrick Garland? Lisa Monaco?) have “concentrated” on.

They’ve actually made our country less safe by “concentrating” money, time, and resources on prosecuting President Trump, his allies, and his supporters who showed up on Jan 6, 2021. The same event the WSJ covers in much the same way as CNN does.”

  2. Exposed indeed. Just one more reason to detest our bought and paid for propaganda media.

“EXPOSED: The Deep State’s MASSIVE Payroll for Media Puppets

It’s not just Politico. Did you know that USAID funded 6,200 journalists and 707 news outlets in 30 different countries?

You’ve been told these are “independent” news sources. You have been lied to. They are owned subsidiaries of the Deep State, funded with stolen tax dollars and weaponized to attack political enemies and the American people.
Here are the TOTAL Tax Dollars subsidizing mainstream outlets in America:
POLITICO: – $34.3 million from various government agencies after laundering the Biden Campaign Laptop disinformation.
NEW YORK TIMES: — $50 million from various government sources, including a staggering $26.9 million from Health and Human Services – Why?
ASSOCIATED PRESS: — $19.5 million in government contracts and $619,968 in grants from the Department of State, with funding spikes in election years of 2020 and 2024.
REUTERS: — $9 million from the Department of Defense for “Active Social Engineering Defense and Large Scale Social Deception” Um, what?$220,000 from the Department of State just last year.
BBC: — British Government TV steals $3.3 million from US taxpayers and received an eye-popping $20 million from Bill Gates. What!?
There are dozens of other examples.
This is why all media reporting sounds exactly the same. It’s funded and directed by the state. Media outlets narratives are carefully orchestrated scheme to influence public opinion and political outcomes.
    In other words, fake news.
    And @elonmusk finally killed it.”

“Elon Musk and DOGE is helping to break down walls that must have been broken down! We voted him in because he was part of the America First Agenda. Don’t get it wrong. Don’t get it twisted THIS is America First. This is what we voted for with Trump. It was a package deal. Making these bureaucrats known and making them fireable…This was the agenda all along. Bring all of the corruption to light, rooting it out, and throwing it out with the trash…This is what the American people voted for now…DOGE, Elon Musk…get to work rooting it out, and put them on the unemployment line. Some…put them in jail…or better yet, I hear GiTMO is back up and functioning. Wait…Bukele said he will take some too!Let’s GOOO!!”

“Today at 10:30am, DC District Court Judge Jia Cobb (Biden) will preside over a hearing related to 2 lawsuits filed on behalf of anonymous FBI employees fighting the collection of the names of individuals who participated in Jan 6/Mar a Lago cases.

The lawsuits–one group is represented by Mark Zaid and Norm Eisen, LOL–seek to prevent the Trump DOJ from the “aggregation, storage, reporting, publication or dissemination of any list or compilation of information that would identify FBI agents and other personnel and tie them directly to Jan. 6 and Mar-a-Lago case activities.”Employees were directed to complete a survey that disclosed their involvement in either case. Acting FBI director Brian Driscoll attempted to thwart that process. The WSJ reported today and CNN confirmed yesterday that while other identifying information was provided to acting DAG Emil Bove, who issued the order, names of the employees were not. (In a memo yesterday, Bove denounced “insubordination” by temporary FBI leadership including Driscoll.)

The lawsuits ironically claim that compiling the list represents violations of the Privacy Act, the First Amendment, and the Fifth Amendment. (J6ers would love a word on those accusations)

Further the lawsuits claim any sharing of the names of FBI employees who helped investigate, arrest, raid, and prosecute J6ers would subject those FBI employees to “harassment” and threats to their safety.

Several FBI and DOJ officials have been forced out in the ongoing purge of the agency. One of Attorney General Pam Bondi’s first actions yesterday was creating a “Weaponization Working Group” to look at several instances of politically oriented prosecutions including Jan 6.”

  5. The levels of corruption by govt workers, and malfeasance by a bought and paid for propaganda outlet is astounding.

All to target a private citizen and political enemy.

And just to add to the hackery here, they won a Pultizer for their hit job.

“The Biden Admin paid Reuters over $300 million in government contracts. 11 different Biden government agencies targeted Elon’s businesses. All 11 agencies paid millions to Reuters. Reuters then won the Pulitzer Prize for “their work on Elon Musk and misconduct at his businesses””

  6. Heard about a website I didn’t know about before, for anyone else interested. – more in common dot com —

I hope at least some of their research and premises are correct (I haven’t explored the site in depth).

~ (About) More in Common was established with the mission of tackling the ‘us-versus-them’ divisions that pose a generational threat to the United States. We have published over 30 reports since launching in the US in 2018 with a foundational study that helped shape the emerging field of efforts to tackle polarization in America. “Hidden Tribes: A Study of America’s Polarized Landscape” showed that rather than being evenly divided, most Americans belonged to an ‘Exhausted Majority’. America’s Exhausted Majority is tired of tribalism, fed up with the country’s polarization, and more flexible and less ideological than the strident voices who dominate public debates.

We work with leaders across the ideological spectrum to strengthen American democracy, solve problems, and better navigate the dynamics of a polarized society. The common thread through our ever-increasing range of projects and partnership is a simple truth:  what we as Americans have in common is greater than our differences. Through both our research insights and projects on the ground, we’re building evidence-based solutions to bring this truth to life. ~

While there are serious and important differences in the U.S. right now, and those need to be debated and resolved as best they can, the U.S. is (still) “one” country and that is crucial to our survival as a nation as we navigate through this period to hopefully come out on the other side.

  7. And this was written about how we should debate theology, but I thought it could apply also to believers and how they/we debate politics (or most anything else where there is a difference of opinion among believers?):

~ Seeking Truth with Love and Humility

As Augustine says elsewhere, the whole point of biblical interpretation is to increase our love for God and neighbor. We short-circuit this road to holiness when, in arrogance, we fail to show love and forbearance to our opponents. … ~

  8. It’s an interesting list of countries and authoritarians who approve of the dismantling of USAID. Venezuela and Nicaragua approve among others. China is of course waiting on the side lines to fill in the gaps.

Meanwhile back in Gaza; the Israeli military is preparing plans to deport the Palestinians — all they need is a destination. And it turns out, Jared Kushner first floated the “waterfront property” development plan almost a year ago. Jared now heads a private equity firm funded by the Saudi royal family. The Saudis in turn won’t normalise relations with Israel unless the Palestinian issue is resolved. So Jared makes, money, Israel gets rid of the Palestinians and normalizes relations with the Saudis, and the Saudis get a return on their investment. Its a win-win for everyone except the people who actually live there and some sucker nation to absorb them.

  9. It’s nice when you can make people happy and save money at the same time. But don’t despair. If you prefer to see people unhappy with us Trump will probably oblige with a tweet in a day or two.

I really didn’t think he was serious about Gaza. That one is more problematic. I’m still taking a wait and see approach.

  10. “A 2006 archived USAID website proudly claims the agency “supported” revolutions in Ukraine, Georgia, Lebanon, and Kyrgyzstan.

USAID funded and trained thousands of journalists, lawyers, judges, and election workers, conducted polls questioning election legitimacy, published reports alleging fraud, and helped oversee new elections, among other initiatives.”
