  15. Neighbor returned home from the hospital late yesterday, I haven’t talked to her yet but will give her a call today. Thanks for those who prayed.

    Other neighbor’s son on the other side of me, meanwhile, is signed up for music classes at Santa Monica Community College, classes begin in February and he is very excited. He’s good in both math and music (the two really are connected) and told me he feels confident he’ll do well and enjoy the classes. General music appreciation is one of the classes.

    Prayers that he sticks with it (it will be an adjustment w/homework, exams, etc., he’s taking 14 units which is a full class load) and that some of this will lead also to studio job opportunities (he’s worked those before, but this will better prepare him as so much changes in those fields through the years, especially with the technology moving so quickly).

    He was playing classical music from the garage the other day 🙂

  16. My dad decided to go to church this week. Last week he said he was not going anymore. I did not ask if he enjoyed it. Excellent sermon and I got my iPad working with the program that writes what it hears. Apparently not familiar with Christian concepts but did better than last week, no obscenities this time. Very clear on our personal sin and need for a Saviour, Jesus Christ. Watching to see what God does, praying for the results I want but knowing His plan is good.
