3. Thanks mumsee, it certainly worked on my end, a refreshing, uplifting morning, good sermon continuing through Luke, and time afterward to catch up with a few folks. Crowded this morning, some of us wound up sitting against the back wall but that’s good, provided time to connect with people we’re normally not sitting nearby.

   I see that Jimmy Carter died, he had a challenging presidency (in a difficult time), and was probably more known for his work afterward in Habitat for Humanity — but also, certainly, for his character and strong faith. He took office following Watergate, and provided a refreshing model as a man of good character. It’s been said this morning that he “came along at the right time” and I’d agree with that.
