Well, I am back. Slept all day and night for three days, getting up for the bathroom every four hours and immediately back to sleep. Fourth day dozed most of the day. Still have the fever, peaked at 104. Then fluctuated from 101 to 103. Then all last night were hallucinations because they were there eyes open or closed. Many were gorgeous, others not. We went to the ER this morning and had a new doc. I could well have been his first patient, he was that giddy. He diagnosed a bladder infection and said all of my symptoms were perfectly normal for bladder infections. Put me on antibiotics, told me to up my potassium and sent me on my way. I see my real doc in three weeks. Prayer for wisdom and resolution.
Thanks, all. Nope, not waiting it out. I would have tried to get in but I was really that asleep. Then we thought I had been exposed to sick grandchildren and might have Covid because I sleep with Covid. But the hallucinations? No. But none of the symptoms were anything like the last two bladder infections which only allowed for pain in the kidneys and urinary urgency with little to show for it.
The last time I slept like that was the dreaded Boise trip when we went to help with the newborn premies and I ended up in the ER and grounded from being around babies for weeks due to the highly contagious virus I always wondered if was an early Covid case.
Back to my locally delivered hallucinations. Just saw some pretty pink string horses on the bathmat but did not even try to pick them up this time!

That’s scary, Mumsee. Sounds like you were trying to wait it out. Prayers for your doctor to have wisdom. Are you seeing a specialist, a urologist?
