The sun was so deceptive yesterday. You expect warmth and then the wind is so cold! It is not quite so windy today, however. We have some leaves in a huge pile to be hauled into the woods. It is good we have had some days so late in the season to do that.
I scored a vacation day today since I have a couple errands I need to run that may take some time and tomorrow is busy with a gathering in the morning at my elder’s house.
Two-day weekends are way too short.
But I’m enjoying the extra day today, despite running errands. Feels like at least there’s some breathing room!
I’ve spent the afternoon with sweet friends. Had a long lunch at a nice restaurant and had a time of opening gifts. Then we went by and saw a homeless lady my friend helps. The lady is 72 and lost her apartment a couple of years ago and lives out of her pickup truck. My friend bought tarps as a covering for the back of the truck where she keeps her belongings. We chatted and hugged. She is quite a character. My friend told her I am a prayer warrior and have been praying for her. It seemed to mean a lot to her.
It’s in the 20’s here. Light snow all day adding up to about 6 additional inches of wet heavy snow. It has pick up in intensity this evening and they keep telling us to expect another foot by morning. We shall see! I got cabin fever so husband and I took a couple mile trot around the neighborhood…I pulled something walking in that mess but it is feeling better. Husband says it’s my hip flexor…I didn’t know I had one!!
My sweet foster baby flew into town yesterday with her husband and two precious babes. They are snowed in and loving it at their airbnb….cannot wait to see them sometime this week! God is good!!
Good morning! The weather will be brighter today and warmer than the norm for November in Atlanta. Not a hint of snow. Envious!♡ It is too warm here.

Now that the elections over, what is there to talk about? The next round. ~Sigh~
Oh well, at least we still have the political cartoons.

Good morning, all. My dad commented several times about how it looked warm out but that wind was cold!

Funnies worth seeing:
• Kamala looking in the mirror and seeing Hillary
• A sign pointing to the polls with a line of walking garbage cans
• And more

It’s 80° and uncomfortable.
