  1. Good morning! It’s warming up for a spell in these parts. I hope it’s pleasant where you are.

Does anyone have a Bible verse memory app/game that you play on your phone? I will be looking for one.

I have been doing a word game app, Zen Word, but decided I’d make better use of my time doing a Bible app.

  2. Morning! I need to go on a hunt for such a crossword sort of game Janice. I play a few word games in the morning trying to keep my mind active but always desired more scripture based focus.

Today is the celebration of life service for my sweet friend/neighbor. Joy and sadness. I know she would want a service focused upon the true meaning of life on this earth. To glorify His name not hers. To proclaim His gospel of forgiveness grace and mercy. I know her family will do just that.

She was a kindergarten teacher for 36 years and her deepest desire was to love those babes as He does. She was so loved by so many.

  3. Good morning, all. A beautiful foggy day with clear skies above. Husband and children are off to Lewiston where the children will learn why they should work harder at learning as they pursue GED. I expect zero success unless the coach “helps”.

  4. Good morning. The sun keeps trying to peak out. Tomorrow cold will return, and this afternoon rain will come. We need all the rain we can get right now. We will try to finish up the raking.

I loved the barking tree comments. 😀

  5. NJ, it’s so hard to lose those friends, I’m sorry. It sounds like she was special and that your relationship was treasured by of you, one that you will surely miss. 😦

  6. It’s still dry and cold here at night and in the mornings, warmer (mid 70s) during the day — but our overall daytime temps are supposed to cool down later this week and the parched winds from the east should also settle down.

Need to go put a sweatshirt on again this morning.

  7. Yes, Janice at 1:12. That is our life. The unfiltered enthusiasm is beautiful. Mike loves to take the children to movies, plays, and concerts for just that reaction. Maybe a full house, maybe an empty theater, but they do respond with joy.

  8. Janice @2:36, NB is a great choice – boots weren’t in my size but I’ll recheck for them; I do have regular NB shoes (a couple pair), though, but I’ve had to go up a width due to this bunion acting up in the past year. 😦 But I do love the shoes and also have read that they’re recommended by podiatrists.

  9. Asics here. Had to ask husband to pick up another half size larger as my feet keep growing. “They” say a half size per child. I am up four children since marriage, eleven to go. Maybe they mean birth children.
