I’ve been mowing for thirty minutes straight over the wumpy yard. The mulch bag got filled and heavy to push along with the big mower (all human propelled). I am sweating more than I sweated all summer. Great release of heavy metal toxins from the body!
Miss Bosley is happy to sit in my lap to keep me warm, lol
Earlier today, I saw a FB post about a couple of children who have been missing for many years, and took a look at the comments to see if there had been any update.
As so often happens in comments on social media, one woman replied to another in a snarky, rude way, insinuating that the other woman didn’t know how to do math. (The other woman had been calculating how long they had been gone, with the original post having been shared a few years ago.) Another person commented that the other woman was indeed correct in how she figured the number of years.
Did the rude woman apologize or admit that she was mistaken? Nope.
This isn’t nice of me, but I often find it a little satisfying to a certain degree when someone who has been rude or snarky is informed that they were mistaken. Those folks never seem to apologize or admit to being mistaken.
A little humility goes a long way. People will respect someone who apologizes or admits their mistake, but I think a person’s esteem goes down when they behave in that rude, snarky way and do not do so. And many folks lose respect for those who behave that way even when they were correct in their stance.
Good morning. Missing Chas opening up the day from the east side of the nation.
Busy day since I need to mow this morning before the rain starts. Also, shopped already and need to cook a lot in case we lose power.

I finished mowing maybe twentry minutes ago. Now a heavy downpour is hitting. Amazing, I got it done just in time.
