  1. The FCC continues to fast track Soros’ bid to take over the American airwaves, despite US laws.

“FCC FAST-TRACKS SOROS’ BID TO DOMINATE THE AIRWAVES

Last week, the FCC adopted an order to approve his purchase of more than 200 radio stations in 40 markets just weeks before the presidential election.

The stations reach more than 165 million Americans, and staff at the FCC are concerned that the move is politically motivated.

The commission’s three democrats voted for the move, while the two republicans voted against it.

Under existing FCC rules, foreign company ownership of U.S radio stations is not supposed to exceed 25%.

Soros took foreign investment to make his bid and then filed a request for the commission to make an exception to the usual review process.

The decision to fast-track the approval process bypassed a national security review, which could have taken up to a year to complete.

  2. What’s wrong with “higher” education?

The same thing that’s wrong with most messed up things in America, too many democrats running things.

    Just like the media.

“Professor Amy Wax: Black law students at Penn are academically less capable than white and Asian students and mostly graduate toward the bottom of the class.

Penn: This statement harms black students.

Wax: But what I said is true, and you know it’s true. If it weren’t true, you’d release the GPA and class rank data by race to prove that what I’m saying is false, but you stopped releasing that information decades ago once affirmative action admissions were firmly established.

Penn: We’re going to investigate you for saying mean things about a vulnerable group.

Wax: Huge racial preferences for blacks in admission to elite institutions and hiding the data showing their poor academic performance doesn’t make a group vulnerable. It makes them less vulnerable.

    [many months later]

Penn: We’ve finished our investigation, and we’ve decided to punish you.

Wax: Did I ever say anything that was inaccurate about the academic performance of black law students?

    Penn:

    Wax: Well, did I?

  4. Actual election interference from foreigners.

The Biden-Harris admin is using military assets to fly a foreign leader into a battleground state in order to undermine their political opponents.”

“Kamala’s campaign is using fake news headlines from a liberal dark money funded organization that does political work on behalf of Democrats by operating phony news outlets.

Here’s how Soros funded propaganda moves in real time:

Earlier today, Kamala HQ and Kamala Wins posted a headline earlier claiming that the Polish Community in PA supposedly endorsed her. But it turned out to just be a letter that was written by a bunch of partisan Democrat politicians.

The letter was published by some news outlet called “Keystone Newsroom.” It sounds like a local PA media outlet. But in reality, it’s part of Courier Newsroom, which is a Democrat dark money funded media project founded by Democrat operatives that operates websites claiming to be news outlets in key swing states.

The idea is to make them seem like non-partisan local outlets when in reality they exist to give glowing coverage to Democrats.

In addition, Courier Newsroom also spends millions of dollars on targeted ads on social media and doesn’t have to register with the FEC as a political group even though their explicit purpose is to elect Democrats.

George Soros, Reid Hoffman, and other liberal billionaires all fund Courier Newsroom. They are doing blatant political activities on behalf of Democrats while registered as a tax exempt organization.

    Should be an FEC violation.”

  7. It seems that the bad guys have infiltrated the communication systems of the Secret Service, which directly led to the security failures in the two assa**ination attempts on Pres. Trump’s life. According to another whistleblower, Pres. Trump is still being hunted by foreign and domestic operatives who want to take him out, and there is evidence that the Biden-Harris admin has been directly involved in the plots. Not only election interference, but treason on a grand scale…

That’s one of the most important reasons why it was so important that we not “move on“ so quickly after the stolen election of 2020. The next admin has been terribly destructive, and they have so infiltrated every area of government (not to mention society) that even if a pro-American admin gets in again, it may already be too late to right the ship.

Pres. Trump is a warrior for the people, the national leader who we haven’t had (even among Republicans) and desperately need in these dangerous times. God has had His hand of protection on this man, and it seems that He still wants to use him for His good purposes.

  8. thanks, Kizzie, I hadn’t heard about that one. (@1:10)

Good piece at The Gospel Coalition about how to talk about politics to your children.

    One out-take:

~ Root your identity in Christ’s kingdom.

If I could pick one principle about political involvement to model for my children, it’d be this: Don’t put hope in earthly politics. I’ve never voted for someone—especially for national office—without profound reservations about some of his or her opinions, policies, and character traits. I want my kids to know my concerns. I want them to see, and see clearly, that while I vote for individuals to serve our country, my hope isn’t in those individuals.

Nor is my hope in the United States, though I’m thankful for many good things about this country. Participating in the democratic process is a way for me to be a good citizen. As a Christian, I rejoice in the ability to be an ambassador for my King and advocate for what he has revealed as good. But I’m only a sojourner in a democratic system. My destiny isn’t to elect a leader; it’s to bow to a monarch. By grace, I’m a subject of King Jesus.

To model this reality to my children, they need to see our family conduct ourselves in a way that anchors hope in Christ, not in American politics. When we gather for corporate worship, they need to hear proclaimed the truths of Scripture, not the platitudes of a political party. When I speak with people of differing political views, they need to see and hear my concern for the salvation of others, not political animosity.

As we lead our children in this way, I pray our family will cling to the political credo found in these words the Holy Spirit spoke through Paul: “Our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Phil. 3:20). ~

  9. Ty, I’d add, however — and caution — that we can’t know God’s purposes ultimately in sparing or taking lives, or in various political leaders who may ascend to power, as Scripture demonstrates so often. It may not be for what we would see as “good” (but will be the unfathomable ways of God that we are not privy to). Seeing things as “good” or “bad” for a nation from our limited viewpoint may be the opposite in God’s providence. We can only see and project so far and it is always imperfect from our limited views.

  10. I’ve seen God’s mantle and authority applied (overtly and by inference) so often to Trump by his more devoted followers that it’s become unsettling, scripturally-speaking.

  11. What is more unsettling, DJ– that God’s mantle might actually be over such a man, or that people think it is?

Even if God is using Trump it may not be for the purposes we think it is, and the outcome may not look the way we hoped it would look. The point is to trust that God is providing. And we are directed to actively ask him for provision. Just as Abraham bargained with God over Sodom and Gomorrah, we can petition the Father on behalf of our nation. Hopefully with a different outcome. 🙂

  12. Whether we are living Rev. 13 or not we must hold fast to what is written in His Word:

fIf anyone is to be taken captive,

    to captivity he goes;

gif anyone is to be slain with the sword,

with the sword must he be slain.

hHere is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

What is our call? Endurance(patience) and Faith….knowing full well nothing escapes His notice.

It was interesting to read an article in the NYT this morning which basically says Christians have lost and we are discouraged. Well they didn’t interview me!😊

  13. I’d say many believers have become caught up in our politics in this election cycle – and may also be a bit taken aback & newly struggling with a way forward when it comes to navigating state abortion legislation considering public opinion that appears to be trending more strongly pro-choice in the wake of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision.

Christ won’t “lose,” that’s clearly been preordained. But it doesn’t mean we believers won’t see some difficult and discouraging periods — and those will be just what God determines we need via his supernatural discipline.

It could be what we need to narrow our focus, get the church back to the basics of the faith without so many national/worldly distractions?

  14. “And God appoints rulers, even those you may dislike. So there’s that….”

Yes, that is what DJ and I have said as well. Whomever wins this election will be God’s will for this country, for blessing or for judgment, or for some other reason.

  15. As I read the words in Rev 13 I am reminded that hard days will come. We are called to remain steadfast for His glory. Even though they persecute us we shall stand firmly rooted.

That does not mean I will be passive when confronting the sin abounding. I do get frustrated and yes angry as I watch the twisting of words and outright mocking our Creator. As some view this as just “politics” I disagree. This is a battle for truth. The left knows nothing of truth only that which fits their mission and narrative. Roe was overturned at the federal level. But it went back to the states…they don’t want that to be mentioned. So many think abortion is illegal now! It is not sadly but the leftist media will stop at nothing to perpetuate the lie….yes Harris and Walz leading the way.
