“Former Border Patrol Chief Aaron Heitke testifies before Congress that he was ordered by the Biden-Harris admin to cover up the number of terrorists arrested at the border.

“I was told I could not release any information on this increase in SIAs or mention any of the arrests. The administration was trying convince the public there was no threat at the border.””

“The Dem administrative state is flying millions of future voters directly into swing states. They are being sent to cities and towns throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Arizona.

Given that this is a sure path to permanent one-party rule, it is a very smart strategy.”

“The Kamala-Mayorkas border team began ramping up their Airplanes of Haitians (Jan 2023) right at the same time they were pushing to end the Title 42 Expulsion authority (ultimately revoked in May 2023).

She swapped Expelling them from the country to flying them in. First Class.

For those who don’t know, CHNV includes Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, & Venezuela.CHNV “Inadmissible” Aliens—who don’t qualify as legal immigrants—get to instead fly direct into the interior of the USA under this novel Biden-Harris Human Importation program.

This program, in its current form, is stretched far beyond any authorizing legislation fig leaf. It was never voted on in Congress. Nor was it disclosed in the original Biden-Harris campaign / platform.

It was and still is a genuine threat to democracy.”

“Yes there is, Tim. It is called the U.S. Constitution. That is exactly what prevents the government from stifling dissent by labeling something “hate speech” or “misinformation.”

Yes, I understand, some forms of speech are repugnant, such as expressions of racial bigotry. Problem is, the category of hate speech expands to include everything the censors “hate.” As for misinformation, who decides what is true and what is false? The government? In authoritarian countries, yes, the government. That is why freedom of speech lies at the very heart of democracy.”

“Why is the federal government evacuating Haiti to the Heartland?

—In January of 2023, Kamala launched a program to fly illegals into the country. The biggest recipient? Haiti. Approx 250K have been flown in during that time, many to small towns.

—In January of 2023, Kamala launched a phone app to admit illegals at the ports. Another nearly 200K illegals from Haiti have been admitted during this time via phone app.

—Virtually all illegals from Haiti who cross illegally in any form are granted automatic release into the U.S. (remember the Del Rio migrant camp? Mostly Haitian illegals). Less than one-half of one percent of Haitian illegals are deported.

—In June of 2024, Kamala granted administrative amnesty (“Temporary Protected Status”) to all Haitian illegals and non-citizens in the US, giving them immunity from deportation, including those on already-expired or soon-to-expire visas.

—Haitians imported by Kamala illegally are granted “parole” (despite being ineligible) giving them access to welfare and free healthcare and a further shield against deportation.

Again, this all formal government policy. Why is our government trying to turn the Heartland into Haiti?”

  5. Speaking of AZ weren’t we? Try attending an AZ Cardinals game with a MAGA hat on. Oh the team apologized but too little too late. That cat’s out of the bag!

The Incident That Exposes It All

Susan Rosener, a season ticket holder for nearly 30 years, experienced something that should outrage every American who values their freedom. As she approached the entrance of State Farm Stadium for a Cardinals game, a stadium security guard stopped her and ordered her to remove her MAGA hat. Rosener was stunned. Since when did wearing a political hat to a public sporting event become illegal?

But this wasn’t about rules—it was about bias. The security guard claimed that political attire wasn’t allowed in the stadium. Rosener asked why. She was met with, “I said, take your hat off,” leaving her with no choice but to toss her hat in the trash if she wanted to watch the game with her husband. Faced with that kind of pressure, Rosener complied—but she regrets it now.

  6. So, asking for a friend….

How much of this cash went to BlackRock affiliated companies?

And follow up, how much did those companies donate to Harris and Democrats?

“FCC Commissioner @BrendanCarrFCC slams Vice President Kamala Harris’s $42 billion broadband initiative, saying it hasn’t connected a single person to the internet in 3 years.

“In 2021, VP Harris agreed to lead a $42 billion effort to expand internet access to millions. It’s been 1,039 days, and no one has been connected—no homes, no businesses, not even a shovel in the ground.”

Carr adds, “It gets worse. No infrastructure will begin until next year at the earliest, and in many cases, not until 2026. This makes it the slowest federal broadband program in recent history.”

Carr accuses the administration of focusing on climate change, DEI, and other political goals instead of connecting Americans. He points out that the government revoked a $1,300 per location deal with @Starlink after President Biden targeted @elonmusk, and now the government is spending over $100,000 per location on its own efforts.”

The bottom line: Without major reforms, VP Harris’s $42 billion program is wired to fail. It’s time to correct course. Get rid of all the extraneous political goals and focus on quickly connecting Americans.””

  7. From the Keller Center today:

~ … When I met James Davison Hunter it was 2016. I asked him about politics. He waved me off and told me to think less about the weather (elections) and more about the climate (the “deep structures of culture”). I’ve never forgotten the lesson. In his newest book, “Democracy and Solidarity: On the Cultural Roots of America’s Political Crisis,” Hunter gives us a climate report that explains why our weather has been so severe. He contends that we don’t share common political ground because we no longer share a common view of a good society. For about an hour we discussed whether we can hope against hope as Christians in American democracy. … ~

That nails it when it comes to our larger dilemma. It’s not “politics.” It goes way deeper than that and that’s a bigger problem.

  8. … (Keller Center post continued) …

~ … We don’t have the cultural resources to work through what divides us, Hunter warns. The left says they want justice. The right says they want a return to greatness. But their intensity of longing for an ideal world “is redirected into fury against the present, a fury channeled into the demand to purge, dismantle, deconstruct, and negate.” The only moral authority left is rage against injury and its perpetrators. So we end up locked in a never-ending “culture war,” a term Hunter popularized 30 years ago. ~

  9. It’s not rocket science to know that if the government releases the worst of criminals into a society that it won’t be a “good society.” I think everyone should be able to agree on that as a basic. Why would government leaders do that? It would appear they desire chaos so someone has a right (government) to do lockdown, gun confiscation, and rule by tyranny and totalitarianism.

“Haitians & Cubans paroled into the USA for more than 1 year are “qualified aliens” to receive Federal Welfare, including Medicaid, Social Security, SSI, SNAP, TANF, & Student Aid.

Haitians & Cubans are specially exempted from the normal 5-year waiting period to get alien welfare that other “qualified aliens” have to satisfy prior to qualifying for these Federal Welfare programs.”

  11. Deeper cultural movements — some examples: from abortion to gay marriage and now transgenderism — go back decades and many newer generations (or some older folks either) now have no particular framework to question those changes. The standards that come from the Judeo-Christian faiths are no longer widely accepted (even within the church in some cases). The family structure has been challenged for many years as divorce became more accepted …

Those are the kinds of things that are now steeped in our culture that bear little resemblance to the culture now. And what is “good” is hotly debated around those very issues. There are others, of course. But many would (and do) consider the changes progress — and “good.” So we have no common idea of a “good society” and thus we are fiercely divided as a people. Politics is just where it shows up (mostly in anger these days) — but that doesn’t come close to getting to what really ails us.

This transition has not happened overnight, but it often feels like it has. And here we are.

  12. (sorry for some of those wrongly phrased sentences)

I did like the author’s description comparing culture to politics: it’s the difference between talking about the “weather” (the mere politics of the moment, somewhat superficial but emotional) to “climate” which goes much deeper and is lasting/entrenched for a longer period of time and actually defines a culture.

  13. And AJ @12:10, I agree with your graph on hate speech (and it also applies to “hate crimes”); that’s a dangerous road to go down and we’ve already gone many miles on that road. 😦
