Thanks. I used to go for 2-3 mile walks. This foot stopped letting me do that about 20 years ago. Doctors looked at it and told me it’s arthritis in the big toe joint, but none of them ever said, “you could get that fixed, you know.” Only when Mrs B had foot surgery last year did it occur to me that this could be fixed.
“Fixed” isn’t really right, they’ll fuse the bones together so there’s no more joint to rub and hurt. I asked the doctor how the lack of a joint will limit me. He said I won’t be able to be a baseball catcher. Oh, well…
