  1. Good morning, all. A beautiful day here, expecting to get up to sixty nine degrees. Currently forty eight. Grandchildren arrive this evening for their forty eight hours with their dad.

Friday the thirteenth is a very good day, in my opinion.

  2. Good morning. It’s 68° and expected to go up to 76° so on the cool side here with clouds now and probably rain later.

This morning has been busy with a trip to Sam’s. There is always a lot to unload and put away from a store like Sam’s. I got an industrial size box of POM toilet tissue. It will last a long time.

    It’s.Not. Charmin’.

  3. Happy birthday, mumsee.

We will have warmer weather than Janice. It was already getting too hot when we took a walk this morning. My husband thought so too, although he was in a long sleeve sweatshirt. I was in a short sleeve t-shirt. That differential leads to some interesting thermostat discussions. Mumsee knows all about them.

  4. Happy birthday mumsee!

Woke up to a cool, overcast morning. Such a relief after all that horrible heat.

Jo, I’m so glad you’re doing well in PT, I’ve always had good therapists, they’re knowledgeable about the body and how it works.

    It’s Friday!

  5. PT therapists rock! I still remember how much it benefited my mother to be in a rehab facility after emergency hip surgery caused by a fall. I would go with her to the PT room. It was amazing! And then PT at home for her. And of course, my own PT. Expensive but a great blessing for strength and encouragement.

  6. Yes they do, Janice 🙂 @12:14

Abby’s backslid on the car training after we had to miss a few days. We’re back to her refusing to get in and she’s stronger than I am (physically, we’ll see who’s “will” can win this battle).

But she needs a reboot so I’ve texted the trainer for some more suggestions.

  7. Trainer is returning tonight when I’m off work to see if we can get Abby “unstuck.”

I need to get some trellises for a plumbago and a bougainvillea in the backyard. And I still have the Lowe’s gift card from a couple Christmases ago so I can use that. Any trellis advice? I’ve never worked with those before.

  8. I just heard about this product and found an article about it. I do not know anything other than what I read in the article. I did not check out the author of the article. I offer it only as the first info I came across. I need to know if I need to peel my organic fruit, especially apples, to remove this substance. Apple peels are a deterrant to breast cancer, but if treated with this, I think it probably cancels the goodness in the peel. Does anyone have reliable info on this?

  9. Janice – I don’t know if this applies to that or not, but I have read that, in trying to prove that a particular product was unsafe, some people have listed ingredients that sound like a bunch of needless chemicals. But they often turn out to be chemicals that naturally occur in foods.

One that I remember (although I don’t remember which product) was pointing out that there was formaldehyde in the product. The person debunking the post pointed out that there is more formaldehyde in a pear than in that product.

But again, I don’t know if that kind of thing is applicable to the accusations against Apeel.
