  1. Last night Kamala lied repeatedly, slandered, and maligned Trump at every opportunity.

This however was her most insulting, asinine, and reprehensible falsehood of all.

And on the eve of the anniversary of the worst attack ever on US soil.

This is a new low for her.

  2. Now as for the clown from ABC news….

His “fact check”, like his moderating, is trash.

Maybe next time don’t ask a Democrat neck deep in it as your source.

“Backfired: David Muir attempted to fact check the Haitian eating pets in Ohio story. He lied. LISTEN to Police reports of roving bands of Haitian immigrants going around Ohio and grabbing up animals.”

“There’s a police report, police call recording, and testimony from residents about Haitains stealing and eating animals in Ohio.

ABC “fact checked” Trump on this and let Kamala get away with the bloodbath hoax, fine people hoax, and lying about police dying on Jan 6, violent crime being down, and not wanting to take away your guns.”

  3. Watching the debate was eye-opening to witness an expert liar who was well rehearsed doing an excellent job at what she does best, lying. She gets an A+ for that. She is slicker than slick and many young and inexperienced people will fall for the shiny glittering spell she casts. Some older folks will, too.

I was impressed to seeTrump’s honesty in comparison. But those who regularly only watch mainline news won’t believe that he is much more honest about delivering on campaign promises. He proved himself before. He has a shiny track record, but the young in our country are more interested in the shiny new toy from what I have seen.

We will wait and see what God will do with it all. Praying for God to give wisdom to the people and for them to vote against socialism.

  4. It’s a good time to refresh ourselves with scripture such as Psalm 37.

It is sad to see the collusion of the moderators, but not surprising. Sadly, too many Americans only listen to 20 second sound bites.

I continue to pray for a fear of God for our leaders. So many are on very shaky ground. Eternity is forever.

  5. I doubt the debate changed anyone’s mind, on either side. I’d call it a wash. Trump had opportunities over and over, yet he failed to address most, going for minute, rabbit hole details. Problem with that is most voters don’t follow politics closely enough to realize he’s right, or why it’s important. Low info voters are legion.

  6. Huh.

Yet Muir’s democrat “source” says its not happening, so Muir calls it debunked.

YouTuber: ‘Here’s 30 minutes of firsthand accounts of residents in Springfield Ohio where many who live there say the pets are disappearing’

  7. “This clip may be the most egregious example of ABC debate moderators’ direct actions/inactions to affect viewers’ perceptions of the information presented at the debate. There are at least seven instances of this within a two-minute span.

    This is not “bias.”

    It’s much worse.

This is direct, planned interference in the debate outcome. When moderators take on the role of “fact checkers” the inference is that the absence of a “fact check” confers validity to the non-fact-checked information.

When one side is repeatedly “fact checked,” while the other is not, that is a signal to the viewer that one side is not reliable and truthful, while the other side is.

The ABC moderators had their orders, and here you see those orders executed.

    In this clip:

    1) Trump says Pelosi is responsible for security at the Capitol. True. Muir intervenes on Kamala’s behalf by cutting him off with snarky retort, doesn’t acknowledging the validity of Trump’s statement, and immediately redirects to Kamala to set up her “answer” he knows is coming. This is direct action by Muir to affect the outcome of this exchange.

    2) Kamala says she was at the Capitol on J6. She was there in the morning, but left to go to DNC HQ prior to the riot. Critical information is omitted. No fact-check.

    3) Kamala says Trump incited a mob to attack the Capitol. False. Trump’s “peacefully and patriotically” comments are ignored. Trump is not charged with inciting violence. No fact check.

    4) Kamala says that “some” police officers died on January 6. False. No fact check.

    5) Kamala recites the Charlottesville “Fine People” hoax. This has been thoroughly and repeatedly debunked. No fact check.

    6) Kamala recites the “stand back and stand by” hoax. This is designed to infer that Trump was ordering a “militia” to act on later orders, when he was clearly asking for a cooling of tensions. No fact check.

    7) Kamala recites the “bloodbath” hoax. Trump was talking about the automobile industry, not violence. No fact check.

To quote Megyn Kelly on the ABC moderators:

“They did exactly what their bosses wanted.””

  8. Hmmmmm….

Now is this the same city manager that Muir used as his source for his alleged debunking of the story?

Inquiring minds would love to know.

“BREAKING: Just two months ago the city of Springfield, OH informed the US government that they could not meet the demands of the Haitians who have overrun their city.

Instead of contacting his own Senator, JD Vance, who was about to be named Trump’s VP, the leftist city manager instead went to a Senator from another state.

Why were we not informed of this crisis months ago?”

  9. The “new” source for meals of immigrants is really something I have heard about for years, but now it is understandably on a much larger scale than before. Haven’t other people heard of this before? We live in one of the most ethnically diverse areas of the USA so perhaps that is why it does not sound like a new thing to me. Nor is it illogical as portrayed last night.

  10. Clarkston, GA is right next to the town of Tucker where my church is located. Copied from the web, probably Wiki:

“Today half of the city’s residents are foreign born and hail from over 50 countries across 6 continents and the City proudly proclaims itself as “the Ellis Island of the South.” The railroad still runs through Clarkston today.”

  11. A snippet from WSJ on last night:

~ … Concerns from Republicans spilled out in the aftermath of the Philadelphia debate, in which Harris successfully put her opponent on the defensive by baiting him over the size of his rally crowds and the outcome of the 2020 election.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) called the debate a “missed opportunity. He had a chance to lay it all out.”

Of Harris, he said: “I think she handled herself well, she had a good disposition. Her biggest failure was to convince people things are going to change if she’s president. It was all happy talk.”

Conservative talk-radio host Erick Erickson, a Trump critic, said after the debate, “Trump can, nonetheless, win this thing still because of the economy and immigration. But he is his own worst enemy and just can’t help himself.”

Republicans accused the moderators of bias but privately grimaced as Trump again claimed that the 2020 election was rigged—something his advisers have long hoped he would move past—and played down the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol by his supporters.

Trump created a viral moment when he claimed that Haitian migrants who have settled in Springfield, Ohio, are eating pets. “They’re eating the dogs; the people that came in, they’re eating the cats. They’re eating the pets of the people that live there, and this is what’s happening in our country.” Local authorities have said there is no evidence to substantiate that claim, which was earlier mentioned by Vance. … ~

  12. Harris had the most to lose but did OK, though she managed to dodge questions (asked and not asked) — but she was certainly helped in that when Trump sailed off on more than a few familiar tangents, running down the clock.

As many have said, the debate may not matter much at all in the end in terms of changing any minds. Those who like Trump still like Trump and those backing Harris still will back Harris.

How big is the “undecided” pool? Not overly big at this point, most election-watchers say.

  13. DJ, those who “fact-checked” the eating dogs and cats comments seemed to be the ones who erred. It seems to be a valid report, even if some local politicians have denied it. (It isn’t always in a politician’s interests to admit bad things happening on his watch.)

I do think Harris did surprisingly well, though she seemed often to lie. The moderators getting involved in fact-checking Trump (and not Harris) was outrageous. My sense after watching it is that Harris will win this election, and that that is a very dangerous thing for our country. But God is in control. We have a nation that has chosen to parade sexual sin and abortion, and that nation’s time of being strong and vibrant may be over. May God help us to focus on the important things. Trump won’t save us, even if God allows us to win, and if Harris and Walz take us deeper into sin and into suffering and even persecution, may God keep us true to Him.
