  1. Good early morning! It’s just after 7 a.m. Time to fry some eggs and start the routines.

Have a sweet day, Wanderers, following Jesus. How do you plan to follow His lead today? I need to be more intentional about it myself.

  2. We will be off to the usual weekly jam. I asked (again) to be more loving as I am out and about. These jams are such a great opportunity for seniors to gather and visit. Last week one family had posters put around town for everyone to come to say goodbye to their family member who moved on to an assisted living facility. (They brought her back to say goodbye)

The group often gives shout outs for birthdays, too. Think back to when you faced a lunchroom full of fellow students and were the new student (or imagine it) that is sometimes how it is for seniors in a new setting. The music is a nice forum to help make that transition. I never appreciated all the blessings the music can be. (And this does not even speak of the blessings to those performing!)

How good God is to give us gifts to benefit one another and bring glory to himself!

  3. I saw a challenge on Instagram from a pastor to be more cheerful. That has been my intentional way to try and follow Jesus more carefully today. To not be a complainer.

I have succeeded so far though the challenges have mounted up mightily. A trip to Sam’s and miraculously Art did not complain once about red lights, PTL!

    1. When we got there I realized I forgot to bring my bill to pay, one of my main reasons for going.
    2. Then, when we got home Art tipped over a container of tiger lily seeds I had saved. They went all over the carport.
    3. Then I had a call from someone about my video doc appt. that did not happen yesterday. That one I did not handle cheerfully, but did not release anger that could have spewed as the person dawdled going through a list of my past appts. that had nothing to do with the problem. Their agenda is to waste everyone’s time. It is so obvious. I said I was busy and would call back later to schedule an in person appt. That was as cheerful as I could be. I fled from the situation to keep cool.

    The day is still young!
