2 John 4: I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth (or in this case, my grandchildren)
We went to the baptism of 2 granddaughters yesterday. Wonderful to see another generation of believers in the family. Most Mrs. L’s sister’s family was there as well. They (~30 total) take a family vacation together every year and chose the town where D1 lives, so it was wonderful to have them along for the baptism. It was at a lake in a state park since the building of the church has no baptistry. They bought it from the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Good news from the Wanderers about the young following Jesus. Great way to start the week!
It’s cool out but the week will be hot by Wed. I have way too much to do today. I’ve done two loads of laundry, watered some plants in the yard, done online Bible study, made breakfast for Art and Miss B, folded and put away laundry, and been in contact with some folks through text, sent a long prayer to son about the school year beginning today, . . . Just to get started.
The lawn is mown. It’s quite lumpy and would be easy to twist an ankle since all that heavy equipment was in the yard. It means there is less grass to mow so that part went more quickly.
The street pavers had their dump trucks blocking our driveway last week for that one morning right at the time when Art leaves for work. They still have not paved. It has not been rainy so that is not an excuse. They got half the street paved the one day we had tree work done.

A friend on Facebook just reminded me that in her day, TV would end, every day! I bet y’all remember those days and the signing off.
