Good morning, all. A beautiful day here. Some concern that pretty kitty got eaten by coyotes last night. We will keep our eyes open and dig up the babies if necessary.
A nice cool day here that feels like the beginning of autumn. But I know that August is just toying with us, and will be back with its usual heat and humidity before the month is out. Enjoying this break in that weather, though!
Today, again, there is paving being done on our street. Art and I saw a sign by the main road intersection that any cars left on the street would be towed. I told a worker at the home renovation across the street that he needed to put his car in the driveway. Most people probably did not see the sign about towing.
A giant dump truck blocked our driveway this a.m. so I had to tell the guy to move it so Art could go to work.
Thankfully I could Zoom in for Bible study. I canceled the ride with my friend. No need to risk getting paving debris on her white SUV.
Pretty Kitty is fine and with her kitties. But not before we uncovered and discovered seven little cuties. None of them are tortoiseshell but several tuxedos and black and one gray. One of the tuxedos has boots like dad. They are all covered again with a sheet of particle board.
Sorry to post a Facebook story as I realize Mumsee and a few others may not be on Facebook, but this is a fascinating story about a UGA black football player who was not a good reader who got into a middle aged white ladies book club. It has helped him become a good reader.
40% humidity would be low for us, too. Right now the humidity is at 61%, but the temperature is only 63, so we’re not feeling much from the humidity. It has been an unusually cool day for August, only getting up to about 68 this afternoon.
This weather is a nice reminder that fall is not too far off, and along with that comes Pumpkin Spice coffee! 😀
Fox news tonight said our dewpoint is at 57% so I am not sure that the 40% I saw earlier online was correct. It is our morning temps that feel like fall. It will be in the sixties tomorrow morning.
Good morning. That bird seems to be thinking, “What are you looking at?”

Yeah he spotted me as I interrupted his dinner. He stayed put though…

It’s 86° with 40% humidity so it feels really pleasant out. That may seem like high humidity to some, but for us it is low and is so welcome.

There are so many good people in the world (the Book Club folk), we’re really much nicer than too many think we are.
Editing away . . . day four. 😦
