Praying for your dad, Mumsee. With his love for church, I am wondering if maybe he has been quietly saved, but doesn’t know how to express it. Praying that if not, he will soon turn to Christ and indeed be saved.
(To be clear, I do realize that loving church is not the same thing as loving God, but it can be related.)
Well, my day did not go as expected. Did not feel well so called a friend to watch my dad, drove myself to the ER about forty five minutes down the road. They thought UTI or kidney stones. Prayer this passes quickly.
I lift up Mumsee to You for the healing touch she needs from You to clear the problem in her UT system. I pray You have already eased the pain and helped get her a good diagnosis based on needed testing. I pray that she did not pick up any other bugs at ER. Thank You for good medical services and personnel to remedy what ails her. Thank You for good care for her Dad in her absence. Please, may she feel much better by morning. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

My dad is up for his bowl of ice cream. Turns out, he keeps going to bed, hoping he will wake up on Sunday for church.

I know I keep praying, knowing God will do what He is going to do. But I have wondered if the seed planted by his mom in childhood has taken root!
