  1. Prayer here as twenty five daughter has decided to add husband to her hate list. She was upset because I had asked twenty six if she would be picking up the children as she was the one who dropped them off here. Twenty five took that to mean we were kidnapping the children and texted him. He asked how she and the new baby were doing and she became irate, telling him he was never to mention that baby again as the baby is not our grandchild. As you can see, reason for concern. Wisdom.

  2. What a difficult “crazy maker” situation, Mumsee. Praying for God’s wisdom, and for Him to keep y’all lifted above the fray. Prayers for children caught in a bad mothering situation. May God supernaturally protect them and bring good from what was meant for bad.

Please pray for all in our nation without Jesus who are so afraid as all they counted on and put their false hope in is slipping away.

  3. No word from M yet, but 3rd Arrow said that M had revealed, before leaving, what city she was going to, so 3rd and SIL are pretty sure they know where M is staying.

Please pray that daughter and SIL can work out a permanent situation with trustworthy caregiver(s). This upcoming week is covered.

  4. My wife Cheryl and SiL Isaac just too k my daughter Elizabeth to the ER. Her fever hit 105. She appears to have what I’ve been dealing with all week, but worse. They all have it now. ☹️

    Prayers would be most appreciated.

  5. They admitted her. She has covid and colitis. Got her on ivs and antibiotics. She will be there thru today most likely.

Cheryl and Isaac clearly have covid as well.

I feel terrible as I seem to be the one who brought it home.

  6. I’m very sorry, AJ. Praying for you all, especially Elizabeth.

Thank you for your prayers for M. Though she isn’t responding to messages from family, she has been seen on Facebook since Wednesday, so they know she is ok.

  7. Oh, praying for Elizabeth, and Cheryl, and SIL That is really bad news. I thought the newer Covid was not hitting as hard although my recent primary care appt. had my doc concerned that I only had received the very first Vax. So sorry to hear of the compounding problem of colitis. I pray E is well enough to go home from the hospital by Monday.

  8. Isaac and Cheryl got home about 4am after it became apparent Elizabeth was staying. She never got put in a room until 8am. And then it was an empty ICU room.

She is feeling better after much fluids and antibiotics. Isaac slept until around noon, got up and is with her now. He’s feeling a little better too after sleeping a bit. I don’t think she will make it home today. Both have obviously called off tomorrow. They’ve already contacted their employer, which doesn’t penalize employees who call off the day before. Weird, but the rules….

Thank you for your prayers. 🥰

  9. Poor kids, continued prayer – glad it sounds like some corners are being turned.

My friend was really sick when she picked Covid up on a weekend vacation to San Diego, so this round does pack a wallop – she also had skipped the last booster but said she’d start those again, though she’ll have some natural immunity now for a little while.

When I had Covid I remember just sleeping a lot, for the better part of 1-2 weeks; I already was off work following that knee surgery so work wasn’t an issue.

  11. I’m still dealing with some coughing, sore throat, and congestion. Alas the snot factory has been shuttered by authorities at least. 🤧 But no fever and it’s all lessened in severity a lot, so that’s good.

  12. Today my son-in-law drove to the place he (correctly) suspected his mom was. She says she’s coming back tomorrow afternoon and will resume babysitting Tuesday.

Her mental health issues make this a tough situation in a number of ways. There’s a lot of stress and anxiety over her past, but especially most recent, behavior. I appreciate all prayers on behalf of my daughter, SIL, infant granddaughter, and M herself.

May you all have peaceful sleep tonight as God watches over us all.

  13. Sorry to be hogging the prayer thread lately. My infant granddaughter had to go to the ER tonight. Fever, but it got under control quickly. Tests for uti, covid, rsv, and whatever else were all negative, thankfully. More prayers appreciated for her and her young parents in the midst of everything that’s been going on lately. 3rd Arrow has decided to stay home from work tomorrow. I’m so glad Mama and baby will be together all day tomorrow.
