Good morning all. Another beautiful day here. Seventy out (seventy three in the house so even with all the windows open, it did not cool much. I love this time of year!
Good morning! It’s 75° at 10 a.m. and feeling lovely with lower humidity.
I hear more cicadas here than usual. Art went outside last night to listen, and he said they sounded the same as in years past. Ha! I thought he was being contrary to say that. Now in thinking about it, I need to remind him that he does have the hearing deficiency.😃 Attitude correction on my part!😀
We sat outside at a music in the park event last evening. It was a beautiful evening for it. One of the few with no rain interfering (there was rain close by and we had drops on the windshield as we drove there). There were no bugs bothering us. The park was under two feet of water recently, so it was a special pleasure to be there.
The reading device I have is working well in my kitchen to keep me engaged as I do chores. I have two books available from Shannon Bream. Has anyone read her books? I had started listening to a Karen Kingsbury book, but it was in the middle of a series and seemed too much for me to keep up with all the characters.
had my first pt appointment today. It went well now I just need to do my exercises. She did say I was probably going to the pool too much and it is easy to overdo it there. That certainly agreed with what I was feeling

Beautiful flowers in the header.
Kathaleena, you had a great reminder to never take the parks for granted again! So glad it was a perfect evening.

I had to laugh when daughter in Boise texted the group: I am not saying it’s hot but two hobbits just came by and threw a ring into my driveway.

95F up here today. I love it! But we sent the campers into the lake to cool off on a regular basis today – I think they had fun.

74 degrees and 73% humidity. Weird.
But there’s a nice cool breeze coming in from the ocean and making my long, sheer curtains billow.
Covered a port meeting this morning and did a phone interview in preparation for a story I’m covering tomorrow; otherwise, a fairly slow day.
Trash night tonight.

I’m gonna take a wild guess and say that that last comment was from DJ.
