  1. Good morning! We had an early run to Sam’s Club. I also spent time on Amazon ordering a list of books for son’s upcoming birthday. He turn 35, half the age that I am and the age I was, of course, when I had him. Time flies!

  2. Good morning, all. A beautiful day here. No air conditioner needed here, in the seventies, but for my dad’s comfort we may turn it on this weekend as it hits the nineties.

  3. Morning! July!!????

We are thanking the Lord this morning for the blessing of two thunderstorms last night! An inch of rain fell and the lightening display was awesome! The forest floor is moist not crunchy and we have humidity!😊 lots of ladies will be having big hair today!

  4. Had a very busy time in NJ and was sorry we didn’t get to see AJ and Cheryl.

Have had one craziness after another leading up to the trip, while there, and upon returning home.

My website was invaded by Russian bots (my webmistress has fought them off–successfully, we think!) I have to buy a new phone today (every four-year nightmare!), pack, get reorganized, and my list of things to do is lengthy.

Please keep us in prayer the next month as we are on a ministry team and then traveling independently. I’ve never been gone this long since I was a teenager.

Fortunately, our house sitter is supremely competant and living here, so we can leave everything in her hands, but the other things around us are a challenge.

Never forget to put on the armor of God!

I’m not sure how we’re getting by these days except by the knowledge that our God goes before us and He is doing a good work.

He will never leave us (the corporate us), forsake us, abandon us, nor take His eyes off us, you, and all the sparrows.

    Marvelous are His ways! 🙂

  5. I read where the ’80s are making a comeback — the mention of “big hair” reminded me of that. 🙂

Monday already? Well, a short week for me with Thursday & Friday off. I have an early-morning dental cleaning tomorrow.

  7. We have a handy man currently putting in a new stove hood for us and preparing the floor to have new flooring. The hood is about 45 years old. The screen could not even be washed anymore. It was disgusting. My husband is thrilled to not have to be the one to do it. I would have had it done years ago. Same with the floor. It all should outlive us.

  8. Yesterday was a little too much. Began by going to Sunday school and then got something to eat and came back to church to set up and attend a funeral for a sweet lady, who had been a deaconness. After it all I only had about 20 minutes before it was time to go to my sisters for dinner. That was a nice time.

  9. So I mentioned that I am having everyone over on Wednesday. I just got a text from my 19 year old grandson. “If you want help making food on Wednesday, I could come over a few hours early” Wow that is just amazing. You folks have been praying.

  10. So, I will need to get rid of a broken wooden plant stand and a broken wooden bench behind my garage for these insurance pics. I could probably just move them but might as well take care of it properly, right?

Gloves, hammer … easy, right? But not today, or tomorrow, still busy working for pay.

If the gardeners come later today, I will ask them if they can do it.

  11. Jo that is so sweet…savor the moments!

Handyman services are wonderful. Yay for new stove hoods. My stove is on the kitchen island with no hood…we must open the window if chaos happens whilst cooking!!

I don’t think I would take photos of those broken items Dj…they wouldn’t require photos of that would they? Hopefully your gardeners can take them off your hands!

Husband broke down amazon boxes to put out for the trash pickup tomorrow…kind of startling just how much stuff comes from Amazon!!
