  1. The ruling from SCOTUS on Presidential immunity is being called a win for Trump. I rather think of it as a win for the American people and our form of government. It is so much bigger than Trump in its perameters.

  2. Intentionally obtuse. The modern democrat.

“SCOTUS: You can’t just throw your rival in prison because you don’t Democrat.

DEMOCRATS: So you’re saying we can drop bombs on him?

SCOTUS: You really can’t even charge your rival with a crime because his presidency made you mad.

DEMOCRATS: Got it. So we can incinerate his house with him in it?

SCOTUS: The Constitution protects officials from being terrorized with lawfare for official actions they undertook while in office.

DEMOCRATS: Ah. Makes sense. So we can officially assassinate everyone we don’t like?

SCOTUS: Prosecuting a politician because you don’t like his politics would destroy our country, and we’re not going to allow it.

DEMOCRATS: Roger that. So what you’re saying is: we are officially allowed to eliminate Trump and the Supreme Court as long as we, like, say it’s official and stuff?”

  3. Look at her overcoming all of those white competitors….

For reference, there was a single white woman in the race because whites are typically slower individuals.

“Everybody all the time said that I wasn’t good enough, said that I didn’t deserve. And so I did this my way, my team’s way, and just the way that it was meant to be.”

“This is for the hood babies. This is for the people who are born and come from nothing. This is for everybody that looks like me that was ever doubted, and I did it with a black designer on my chest.”

“This is what I stand for and I’m making a way for everybody in my position.””

  4. These are the most disappointed at the SC decision, the corrupt judges who said this lawfare was perfectly fine.

“A reminder that these are the judges–one Obama, two Biden, and one GHWB–who denied Donald Trump’s claims of presidential immunity from prosecution.

Judge Chutkan (top left) issued the landmark opinion without even holding a hearing.

The 3 appellate court judges upheld Chutkan’s rushed order one month after oral arguments.

Their decisions are about to be judged by SCOTUS.

    We will see what happens.”

“Jonathan Turley reads through SCOTUS’ ruling affirming presidential immunity:

“In reading through this opinion, I can’t see how this doesn’t induce cardiac arrest in the special counsel…

The court is imposing a very significant burden on Jack Smith when this goes back to the judge.”

    Boom!”

  7. I continue to be concerned and pray that no political violence occurs and enters this campaign from either “side.”

Emotionally, with so much anger, sad to say, the culture seems primed for it. 😦

  8. Truth of it is Dj, the violence only comes from the left. I challenge anyone to show otherwise.

The DNC convention in Chicago will be what lights the fuse. That’s where hard left progressives are planning massive BLM/Antifa type protests. This summer Chicago will burn. I hate to say it, but it seems highly likely.

  9. We were just discussing that very thing this morning about the uprising if/when Trump is elected. The left will lose their ever lovin’ minds and I sense violence will rule the day. Lord have mercy on this nation and open the eyes which are blinded.

  10. Human nature, which has sadly been known to fall into violence, is found on both the left and right 😦 Not sure how you are so confident it’s a problem with one side only.

  11. probably more confident due to who has been violent and burning down entire cities. It has not been conservatives. Not to mention the diabolical actions taken by Democrats the past 3 and a half years.

  12. Politically, violence occurs on both the far right and far left — and from the biblical standpoint (which is our main pair of glasses through which the world is viewed), all men and women are fallen and capable of all kinds of sin.

So my prayer remains encompassing, that there will be no violence on either “side” (if that’s how some prefer to view events) going forward, the nation is in a precarious state.

    But God —

  13. I personally know of no one who desires violence. Is man capable of such no matter their political persuasion? Of course. The heart of the matter is the heart.

  14. NJ, I’ve never known a mass shooter. I’ve also never known anyone who appears likely to be violent (though most who commit some of the worst violence also were not seen as likely “candidates” for that behavior by friends or neighbors, apparently).

These dark impulses, as we read in Scripture (and see in the headlines regularly), run through our broken world. Violence comes from all kinds of political obsessions (or often no coherent political allegiances at all) coupled with a troubled soul.

Prayer for these matters is always needed, of course, and I have no doubt everyone here seeks God’s mercy in all of this. No one wants to see violence on any (or no particular) “political side.”

My expression for prayer in this period was simply that, it was not meant to imply or spark a debate that argues one side is worse than the other. I would hope general appeals to prayer would be normal and expected on a Christian political thread.

Our nation is seeing a particularly difficult and tense season, overall, and that can cause the more unstable to sometimes act on their impulses.
