Continued prayers for British church friend John (90) who had to go back into the hospital (a luxury suite, he says) w/blood pressure issues. He emailed me this morning with concerns that he’s also not thinking or speaking clearly. His wife says they’re trying to figure all of this out.
He originally was in for a broken femur which was repaired in a surgery — a few weeks ago.
They’re hoping he can be transferred to a TCU (traditional care unit) soon.
And prayers for real estate friend who fell on his tailbone a few days ago; he’s doing OK, went in to see the doctor who gave him something for the pain and he’ll get an Xray on Tuesday but if it’s a tailbone fracture it probably just needs time to heal and improve.
Speaking of tailbones, did I ever mention what son out law did?
well, in case you missed it. Last summer he had a job escorting a group of young folk to various job sites in the forest, after which they would cool off in the river. He was a competitive swimmer in high school. Anyway, he decided it made sense to jump off a seventy foot ledge into the Salmon. He hit the water wrong and bruised, probably cracked, his tailbone. It hurt. A lot. But because he could not lose face in front of the teens, he climbed up and did it again. He has shown a bit more sense since then. Took a couple months to heal.
