  1. Less than a year ago we had an outside faucet fixed. It leaked into the wall. The faucet itself and a bit of pipe was replaced. When I connected the hose to it, I could not seem to get it to stop leaking, so I asked my husband to reconnect it. He couldn’t get it to stop leaking either. I did use it for the summer. I went out Saturday and used just the faucet with no hose and it was leaking all over. Then my husband said it was also leaking into the house again. A manual on my dryer was soaked! I called the plumber and they said they could not come out before June 20th! We are on a list. I asked if it was warrantied so I could know before I called a different plumber. It should be, but she couldn’t say for sure.

In the meantime, the other plumber still has to call when the toilet (twice misordered) comes in. Moral of the story: Mamas have your babies grow up to be plumbers!

  2. in case anyone did not see this laye yesterday, I posted:

“This could go on the politcal thread, but it shows God at work in Atlanta. So I put it here.

My friend went to Church of the Apostles this morning (where M spoke). Since it is the time of local elections, a certain Judge McAfee, seemed to be visiting large churches as a way to remind people to vote for him. He was there with a security guard and it was announced to the congregation that hef was present. He is the young judge who ruled in the Fani Willis case that had the fragrance of mendacity, but even so, he allowed her to stay on the case if the paramour left. With it being Mother’s Day, the pastor preached on the story of Debra, the judge, and how the men judges did not do right, so Debra got to step in and be a fair judge.(Not sure how that applies to Fani, but she was not there; it was just McAfee.) God does have a sense of humor still.”

  3. Kathaleena our grandson is uncertain of his next step after graduation. Husband advised to learn to be a Plumber!! Sam is so oriented to hands on, figuring out problems. He does not want to be in an office. And we would have our own personal plumber!!!
