  1. Good morning from another beautiful sunshine day here in Idaho. Forecast is for a break in the snow and rain and cold for the coming week or so. I have not seen the stars in months so looking forward to that.

  2. Good morning! I hope you can see the stars, Mumsee! I went outside late last night and gazed at the sky seeing stars in the dark patches of sky as the clouds were slowly moving through. I heard frogs making their night sounds. I praised God for the beauty of it all. I went back inside where the fans were buzzing and television blaring. Quite the contrast With the built up heat from the day inside, I had reason to thank God for the artificial breeze from the fans.

  3. The sunset was so beautiful last night as we drove home from a gig.

Beyond disgusted that the wrong toilet was brought to the plumber again! So, we wait again.

  4. Morning! It is cloudy and cold here. Snow is moving in this afternoon. Grandson has a baseball game in Elizabeth at 3:30 and this one I may miss!!! Brrrr⛄️

I will attempt to finish my projects before husband gets here He has been pacing his friend at Cocodona 250 this week in AZ. Friend sustained an injury at mile 175 I believe and had to drop out. They are headed home with one a bit defeated, exhausted and in pain! I guarantee his friend will try it again next year!

Kathaleena how awful! Someone should be offering a discount at this point!

  5. It is the way of the world we live in: waste everyone’s time. It seems to always take several attempts to get things right that previously would have been done coreectly the first time. Is it ignorance or intentional? We have ample opportunities to ask that question. Sorry to hear that, Katha leena.

  6. I doubt it is intentional. This is a business handed down to the son. The son is expanding right now. He has worked for his dad before, but then pursued other interests. Hopefully, the business will get on a better footing. He is a Christian and makes it a point in his advertising and in newspaper articles.

  7. Kathaleena, I was not meaning they were in error, just the supplier. I suppose they could have keyed in the wrong model number twice or mismeasured. It was morerr than likelu a rushed wholeseller who sent the wrong thing unless they have an onhand inventory.

I was shocked at how seamlessly the basement door replacement went for us. Ordered the door, special order size, and it took some extra time to arrive, but was correct and only took half a day to put in. We don’t see things go that smoothly in our world. It was truly shocking.

  8. We had a lovely excursion this morning. Down the other grade to the river (we could see some of the places our grade was washed out), along the river and then up another grade. Took a couple of hours and my dad says it was just right. I suspect the grade back up onto the prairie reminded him of his logging days though it was gravel and not dirt.

  9. Amazing, Mumsee, how he gets around.

I went for a walk and a car stopped beside mr. It was Art. I was tempted to ride home with him, but I continued my walk so I could get more photos of the new bloomers in the neighborhood.

Ihave been trying to decide if one flower is a bright red poppy or an anemonerr. After looking up the two, I think it is a Bright Oriental Poppy. So pretty!

  10. That sounds like part of the route that I took, Mumsee. and it was so beautiful. Those wheat fields were gorgeous.

I got home from a church meeting in time to listen to my daughter do her presentation for her masters. Insights into what she believes. A wilderness counselor. I was glad to listen, but there was no gentleness in her voice. It was like she was proving herself.

Well time to begin looking up flights for when I go to Colorado next week. Nj, you sound like it is still pretty cold there. It got up to 83 here today and is going to continue in the 80s.

  11. Jo, the grade you came up is the one that got washed out, in a number of places. Probably be at least six months, possibly much longer so our trip to town went from twenty five minutes to forty five.

  12. Oh I love red poppies Janice. I just can’t figure out how to grow them here. I know it is possible because there is a house about 5 miles down the road that has a front yard filled with them!

Jo we are cold right now with snow coming tonight at our elevation. But next week we have chances of evening thunderstorms with temps in the 50’s and low 60’s during the day. It will be in the 30’s at night though. Bring sweaters and sweatshirts!
