  2. Siri, why does no one trust the media…..?

“Today in clown world news: The Washington Post has transitioned from “non-citizens can’t vote in U.S. elections, conspiracy theorist” to “foreign nationals ARE voting in U.S. elections, that’s great for Our Democracy™️, and Republican meanies are racist for trying to stop them!””

  4. AJ – re: your mention last night that you trust X over the Bulwark, referring to my comment yesterday at 1:06, I presume.

The reason I shared that Bulwark piece was because it was the one that Schlichter linked to the other day, claiming that Kristol’s sharing of the piece indicated that he was pro-Hamas. Having read the piece, I cannot see that in it. Which is why I asked:

“How does the article linked in the X-post show that, as Schlichter claims, Bill Kristol is on the side of the “Hamas lovers”? I read the piece, and [the author] is critical of how Biden is handling the anti-Israel protests, among other things. Where in this piece does it look like Kristol “sides with the Hamas lovers”?”

  5. Also wondering how the headline (emphasis mine) – “Noncitizen voting is rare. Republicans focusing on it anyway.” – translates to “foreign nationals ARE voting in U.S. elections, that’s great for Our Democracy™️. . .” ?

  6. Thanks for the link Debra. Interesting times. After reading this from Johnson my first thought was “then quit playing them”” He is delusional if he thinks Biden or anyone in the WH could ever be trusted…ever!

“And I think the large, you know, the landslide vote tonight against removing the speaker is a signal that I think people on both sides of the aisle obviously understand this is not a time for games.”

  7. Where is the actual news? Most of these posts are merely trashing those they see as opponents, many with pejorative words for them.

  9. Yes, DJ, I think I just did. Betrayal is a cutting of trust, and it cuts both ways. The betrayer cuts himself off from those who trusted him, and the betrayed finds relationship elsewhere. It happens in divorce all the time. Unlike Judas, Johnson was offered a path of reconciliation (or so I’ve read) and he rejected it. He’ll have to live with his choices as do we all.
