Praising God for His many mercies and blessings! Asking Him to watch over all the students going to proms. May He keep them safe from the snares of temptation to sin and act foolish.
I will be prepping for my third try at a colonoscopy, which will take place early on Monday. I would appreciate prayers that I can drink and take all the meds necessary.
I just heard of another high school student who committed suicide. It breaks my heart that so many have no hope.
We will be attending the funeral of a woman that I believe some of you have prayed for. She had a lot of medical issues in the last few months. She decided to stop treatment after a few surgeries and is now with the Lord. She was a blessing to so many. She never married, but has loved, prayed and helped many others, young and old. She lifted up hearts to God, while still speaking about the condition of our nation. I am sure the gospel and praise to God will be the tenor of the memorial service.
Prayers for a wobderful service in her honor and that some salvations of the reluctant will occur.
Prayers for those sufferring from the suicide loss of one so young. May there be a way, or I should say, May the WAY, grab the hearts of the young and bring them to saving knowledge so suicide and other foolish endangering acts would be replaced by devotion to Jesus and true discipleship that seeks to make new disciples.
Lord, please help Kathaleena have tolerance for the prep for her procedure. Please keep her feeling well and let not her system be troubled by the prep or the procedure. May she get desired results and recover quickly. In Jesus’ name, Amen
