  1. Thank you, Peter!

    Good morning, Y’all!

We have been on an excursion this morning looking for a place to get a car emission sticker. Our usual shop had a broken machine. The second place was mo longer there. The third place was playing hard to get to thankd to Google navigation antics. But it turned out to be the charm. They even put air in Art’s tires.

Art got stopped by the police for an expired sticker. It expired a few weeks ago on his birthday. Not sure what the late fee will be. It is just another cost among the many of being too busy during the tax season.

A client will be stopping by here today to pick up his refurn. At least I have notice to expect someone.

  2. This sounds like a good book for these times: High Road Leadership by John Maxwell.

    About the Book

Today, we are living in a world where disagreement reigns and people are divided. A chasm is widening between us and them, where everyone picks a side and tries to win at the expense of others. Why is this happening? Too many leaders are taking the low road with others. They do what serves themselves best. They take from others without giving anything back. And if anything offends them, they retaliate.

The world’s most influential leadership expert tackles this problem by teaching people how to avoid the low and middle roads and take the high road in their leadership. That’s where they value all people, help others win first, and give without expecting anything in return. High Road Leadership isn’t about moral superiority or being better than others. It’s a mindset that lifts people up and brings everyone together.

For fifty years, Maxwell has taught that everything rises and falls on leadership. In High Road Leadership, he teaches how to make your leadership rise so that you can bring people together and inspire them to achieve good results together.”

Art gor to meet Maxwell at a church event early on when his ministry was beginning.

  3. It looks beautiful outside. The temperature is another thing, although we are getting warmer and warmer.

This is the 3rd day the music group is playing music. This one is at the most beautiful care center/senior apartment building. It is an old city building repurposed. They play in a beautiful courtyard setting with lots of windows and light. The walls by the rooms are painted to look like buildings. The nurse’s station is also set outside an office which looks like a home.

  4. It’s been raining (lightly) here, supposed to clear up later this morning but then the winds return; cloudy and cool all day again.

I have too much to do today, at least one phone interview left to do and several stories to write up. But it’s Friday at last.

  5. that is funny. We had a 4.8 here yesterday. I really didn’t feel it but heard all of the noises my house made. Glad that my house is built on a rock.

  6. hay fever is strong here so will be upping my dose of turmeric

I went to the eye doctor yesterday since my right eye is so itchy. I thought I had pink eye. My eye that had surgery was fine. Doc said the drops were probably suppressing the symptoms in that eye ok that makes sense. He had me get antibiotic drops for the eye but I think turmeric will take care of it. After three hours In the office.

  7. Of course anything goes; and shingles is a rumor and rumors are not good for new medical practices. I’m actually all in on the vaccinations but to each his or her own.

An exhausting day today with so many stories, interviews, and opening a medical practice.

  8. I did give up probiotics, those didn’t seem to do much and not worth the cost — for me, anyway.

Jam-packed day today, I’m wiped out.
